The bullet clipped the top of Trump's ear and blew it away, says Dr Ron Jackson.

The main thing they have to worry about is swelling and infection that may cause blood to swell in the remaining ear tissue.

This is why they have to change the bandage often, because the wound is draining. They also had to make the bandage bigger to keep blood from seeping thru the gauze.

We saw pictures of the injury right after the assassination attempt, but blood covered up the wound so assessment of tissue loss couldn't be seen until a Dr treated the patient.

Part of Trump's ear has been ripped off......and was withing a inch of entering his skull.
