CPAC used to be about conservative ideas -- now it's just a circus

“The CPAC that has been on display this week is a far cry from what some of the more serious conservatives of the 1970s had in mind. The event has become a political circus filled with conspiracy theories, cranks and far-right extremism. The past few days have featured speakers from Fox News and the Trump world spewing out the most outrageous statements they could think of making.”

And Trump, of course, was today’s most ridiculous clown in that circus.

In fact, CPAC is the prefect representation of what conservativism has become: extreme, buffoonish, wrongheaded, and inane – idiotic political dogma comprised of nothing but rightist propaganda and lies.

Like DNC Convention From 2016? :21: Like CNN and MSNBC on a daily basis? :21:

Just because Van Jones spoke at CPAC doesn't make it a circus, ya racist.

Van Jones Shocks Everyone at CPAC 2019
Masterful appearance by Van Jones. He is not only a decent linguist, but a good persuader. He knew just how to stroke the sensitive, volatile egos filling that room. He started it by framing it as them 'eating the black guy's lunch, for once'. he proceeded then to appeal to their self-righteousness and superiority over liberals. The Democrats will need more people like him beating the streets in 2020.

I didn't watch it. I hear it was a shit-show for other reasons. Mainly that most of the conference was about Israel and not america.

That was a “blacklash.” LMFAO Trump won n a “whitelash” cried Jones in 2016 :206: Conservatives showed that they support free speech. Unlike racist Democrats.

The democrats need more of their people picking up trash along the road.

... said the actual statistics, in 2016 as well. And conservatives did not show support for "free speech". If Van Jones had laid into them or said the things you are whining about, they would have had a little fit (like you just did) and boo him off the stage.

Like I said, he stroked them masterfully. They lapped it right up. Good stuff.

Your a kook. Van Jones was invited to speak because conservatives support the Constitution. Van Jones couldn’t tear into anyone because his views are racist and extremists. Way out of the mainstream. :cuckoo:

Van Jones was invited to speak because conservatives support the Constitution.
No, he was invited to speak because he AGREES with them on something, not because he disagrees with them on anything. You're delusional....

Wrong again. What does he agree with them on? If he agrees with GOP on anything then you must hate him. Fucking Uncle Tom :102:

You guys just can't get over the fact that there exists one, just one moderate right cable news channel even though you've got CNN MSNBC, ABC NBC, CBS, NY TImes, Washington Post, Google, Facebook, Twitter and all the rest of the mainstream media in your back pocket.

Lol at anyone calling Faux Noise "moderate". Plus you RWNJs own the AM radio waves and the internet is awash with dingbats like Alex Jones.

What does he agree with them on?
PRISON REFORM

Good grief son, did you watch a SINGLE second of his appearance? It is clear that you did not. For fuck's sake, why are you even commenting on it?

Soros co-conspirator and communist Van Jones should not have been invited to speak. This is what I hate about mainstream boomer conservatives. So desperate to disprove the "racist" accusations of the left that they legitimize a piece of shit like him because he's black.

Dummies, they're gonna call you racist no matter what you do. Haven't you figured that out yet?

Fucking lol. Nobody under the age of 65 listens to talk radio. A dying breed, a fossil. Get with the times, old man. Do you even know what a podcast is? it aint 1995 anymore and bill clinton is not your president. Alex Jones has always been a marginal figure at best and too silly to take seriously. Besides, he's been banned from every social media site in existence thanks to the left's war on free speech. A conservative can't even break wind on Facebook, twitter or Youtube without getting a big fat "banned for racist hate speech" stamp on their foreheads.

So Jones is a typical lying, schmoozing Democrat appearing at CPAC to try to damage Republicans?
Do Democrats ever tell the truth to anyone about any thing? The answer can only be "no." That's why they are supported by the lowest dregs of society.
