There's no wind in space. I don't think we can hear it. They could hear it but I'm not sure it's audible on the tapes. These guys were very busy but they had the time to remark several times that the noise was "really wierd" and remarked that it was "outer space type music". It may very well be radio interference, but personally I believe it was alien communications that they briefly were in line of while away from the noise of earth. I think it was aliens.
