Yes he was unstable but given the fact people interviewed by police after the shooting stated he didn't watch the news listen to talk radio or follow politics makes it extremely unlikely he ever saw that map or heard anything Palin ever said. In fact the thing that seemed to truly set him off was when she didn't answer the following question to his satisfaction in 2007 . What is government if words have no meaning? They found a form letter Giffords sent thanking him for attending the event in box along with an envelope that had die bitch and assassination plans have been made written on it. This mans deranged issues with Gifford began long before Sarah Palin was ever on the national radar.
