These Moon Bats come up with what they think are great things to save humanity but there are always unintended consequences. Most of the time the consequences turn out to be catastrophic. Like the economy tanking big time when Joe Potatohead curtailed fossil fuel production and distribution in order to appease the Environmental Wackos.

I'm inclined to agree, but I don't think it will implode because of external wars, but because of internal disunity: civil war.

I doubt a civil war is coming. Americans are weak for that.

There is great disunity, but this is due to the effects of the duopoly. The government, media, corporations, oligarchs all push division along the party lines. Too many Americans fall for the divisive propaganda.

I suspect the government would love violence to break out, because they would crush it and use it to further propagandize the people into believing the State is the answer.
