Debt is Pushing the US Into Fascism

Jews had a debt forgiveness program which wiped away the debt once every seven years. You probably don't like that though since you hate Jews.
The only Jews I don't like are the ones in Israel who think they have a god-given right to steal the land and water of non-Jews.
Jubilee is a good idea that could probably be put to good use today:

10commandments-640x327.jpg

"The Ten Commandments are largely about how to deal with debt in Near Eastern ancient economies.

"'This goes all the way back to Sumer in the third millennium...'

"Similarly, the Commandment ‘thou shalt not steal’ refers to usury and exploitation by threat for debts owing.

"The economist (Michael Hudson) says Jesus was crucified for his views on debt. Crucifixion being a punishment reserved especially for political dissidents.":stir:

What do you think "fascism" means? You seem to think it means anything you don't like
This is the definition I'm working with, what about you?

Richard D. Wolff - The U.S. Is Borrowing Its Way to Fascism | Brave New Europe

“Fascism merges private capitalism and the state. Political power then enforces capitalism’s basic rules: the economic dominance of the major shareholders and their top directors and managers...”

"The fascism taking shape here is not primarily the crude political theatre that today’s wannabe fascists offer.

"The Trump regime’s courting of white supremacists and other extreme nationalists, its virulent scapegoating of immigrants, Latinx, and African Americans, and its encouragement of police repression are too often counterproductive.

"Those symbols are similar enough to many of 20th-century fascism’s horrors that they are too easily recognized as dangerous.

"Today, the United States moves more quietly and more effectively toward fascism via its fast-evolving credit system. It’s time to expose borrowing as a path to fascism."

White Supremacist Threat Has ‘Striking Resemblance’ to Jihadism, Experts Tell Congress – Homeland Security Today

"'Supremacists make propaganda warning of an alleged great replacement of whites in the same way jihadis talk about supposed war against Islam,' he said. 'White supremacists support violence as an appropriate way to defend the purity of the race just as jihadis use violence to protect the purity of the religion. Both the groups recruit followers and reinforce their messages through social media. While jihadis make online videos supremacists post online manifestos.”

"'Where jihadis travel to fight in places like Syria and Afghanistan, white supremacists now have their own theater in which they learn combat: Eastern Ukraine. Recent research showed that around 17,000 foreigners from 50 countries including the United States have gone to fight in that conflict.'"

No it doesn't. Only government requires spending and debt. Capitalism requires almost nothing at all from the federal government.
Capitalism requires corporations.
Corporations are chartered by government.
Capitalism doesn't exist without government.

How on earth did they measure "levels of authoritarianism?" Your post is obvious horseshit.
I suspect you asked that question without bothering to click on my link

The rise of American authoritarianism

"For years now, before anyone thought a person like Donald Trump could possibly lead a presidential primary, a small but respected niche of academic research has been laboring over a question, part political science and part psychology, that had captivated political scientists since the rise of the Nazis.

"How do people come to adopt, in such large numbers and so rapidly, extreme political views that seem to coincide with fear of minorities and with the desire for a strongman leader."

Richard D. Wolff, Dear lord....A thread about walking away from Capitalism for the glory of Marxism, written by a Marxist....Why am I not surprised.
Possibly because you know nothing about his qualifications?

Richard D. Wolff - Wikipedia

"Wolff earned a BA magna cum laude in history from Harvard in 1963 and moved on to Stanford—he attained an MA in economics in 1964—to study with Paul A. Baran.

"Baran died prematurely from a heart attack in 1964 and Wolff transferred to Yale University, where he received an MA in economics in 1966, MA in history in 1967, and a PhD in economics in 1969. As a graduate student at Yale, Wolff worked as an instructor."

Keynesianism is socialism. Like socialism, it's facilitator, Keynesianism, is designed to fail. The electorate enjoys about three to four cents worth of purchasing power on the dollar now. Their savings continually robbed of its value by way of inflating the currency.
Keynes believe unfettered capitalism would lead to socialism since all good capitalists seek monopoly power:
keynes3.jpg

Common Myths About Keynesian Economics - Pragmatic Capitalism.

"Yes, Keynes did not favor socialism, but was worried that an extreme case of capitalism could actually lead to a socialist takeover. This makes complete sense because capitalism is inherently monopolistic. A good capitalist wants to own all of the means of production so they can maximize profits."
Keynes provided excuses for government meddling in the economy. He was a demagogue.

Wrong, capitalism doesn't require corporations. Your post is nothing but lies, as usual.

My link claims authoritarians are a real US constituency that exists independently of Trump and will continue long after he dies like Epstein. Authoritarians are essentially timid punks who prioritize social order and hierarchies which appear to bring a sense of control to a chaotic world. Does that sound like anyone you know?

Not sure why people so worried about debt. Most do not even understand it. Most of our debt is TO OURSELVES. It is as fake as paper money. And who cares about foreign debt. I mean we are like a HS senior borrowing from 3rd graders who has the balls to collect from us?

I think you're right about public debt, but we are also facing record levels of consumer and corporate debt.

Consumer and corporate debt again is debt to ourselves and each other not debt like most people think about it. Most people think we owe China 20 trillion dollars. When in reality it is more like 1 trillion. It is government mismanagement of our money. We print a dollar in that dollars life span it generates thousands of dollars in taxes. You make a dollar you pay taxes you spend a dollar you pay more taxes. You buy a home with that dollar you pay taxes on it the rest of your life. You die you pay taxes on that dollar you had. Where does all this money that is generated through excess taxes go? It certainly is not listed in the budget our tax income is FAR greater then what is reported and spending is WAY higher.

I'd say dems are pushing up to fascism. But agree dept is out of control.
Elite Democrats serve the same ten percent of voters as Trump does, namely their investor class which is roughly the richest ten percent, i.e., the creditor class.

For thousands of years creditors have enslaved debtors in order to maintain their golden lifestyles.

Nope

Keynes recognized the obvious:

https://bsahely.com/2018/09/25/mode...ority-john-laurits/#The_State_Theory_of_Money

"After observing banknotes’ relation to reserves, Georg Friedrich Knapp proposed that money’s value did not result from any intrinsic value in metals but from the state’s ability to impose taxes."
Gold is money. Knapp is a moron.

Yes, that's what it claims, but it fails to prove it. That's why it's Voo-Doo. Its definition of "authoritarian" is entirely arbitrary, and it fails to prove that the test they devised is evidence of the personality trait.
