A bill on the table in Delaware would permit assisted suicide for mentally impaired patients.

The Delaware End of Life Options Act (HB 160) was introduced to the floor by Democrat Rep. Paul Baumbach. A controversial amendment is attached to the bill which includes terminally ill people who are “intellectually disabled” may choose to die, LifeSiteNews reports.

Delaware Bill Will Legalize Euthanasia for the 'Mentally Impaired' - DANGEROUS
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's imagine how dangerous this is.

1. Everyone whose a leftist sheep believes how the medical field is the RIGHT GODS they never fail and no matter what label they slap on you must mean it is true.

2. Imagine the power these leftist mental health counselors have over people all they have to do is say you have a mental illness and that makes it so , ship you off to the state hospital end of story.

3. There are multiple other scenarios where this is beyond acceptable and when you step and realize how easy this bs can happen to you or the one you love, you might not think of it as so funny.

State Rep. says blogs are falsely claiming his bill will push suicide on mentally disabled

Various national blogs have claimed an amendment in the bill 'pushes assisted suicide on intellectually disabled people,' which Rep. Baumbach said was flat out lies and instead acts as a safeguard that protects mentally disabled Delawareans.

"As far as the amendment, the amendment is a safeguard. This is not something that jeopardizes somebody with intellectual disabilities, but rather it adds an additional protection for them," said Rep. Baumbach.

"There is a spectrum of intellectual disabilities: there are those who are not able to make their own legal and medical decisions and they're not eligible for this, but there are those who have minor intellectual disabilities and its one that require they take more time to make their decisions, and what this amendment does is it gives them that more time and ensures that all the instructions from their physicians are in writing and work with a clinically license social worker to understand those instructions."

I'm not saying ok or not ok.

It's straight forward assisted suicide - and it ONLY applies to those capable of making those decisions for themselves. What you're doing is dishonestly portraying it as euthanasia - which it isn't.

You can agree - or disagree - with assisted suicide - but please be honest about what it actually is.

Problem is though who or what will determine if that person can " really" make that choice" . The so called expert could say they are but they aren't etc. But, I understand what you are saying..

Nobody should play God or go against fate which ever determines our time to go. If you ask me.

By definition, retarded people are not capable of making decisions. Therefore this is not assisted suicide, it is murder.

Do you realize you are you debating with a fucking retard? Mindwars is delusional and just plain dumb.

We should allow euthanasia for the terminally ill

It should not be taken lightly but should require the concurrence of a team of doctors

The right to decide for oneself is a very important one and shouldnt be taken away lightly, even for a mentally chsllenged infividual anf its done lightly. I think it goes through courts. I think it is a tricky time we live in. We play God everyday by extending lives far beyond what nature would have allowed. Bsbies are born with horrendous birth defects can live now for a few months or years dependent on expensive machinery and care when they would previously have died shortly after birth. People can be kept alive when they dont want to be.

It is difficult.

If Hitler only would have come across as kind, understanding and compassionate in his zeal to euthanize all Jews like you liberals are about euthanizing mental retards, he would be seen in a more favorable light today. Hilary might have admired him as much as she does Margaret Sanger.

When my father died, he was in a coma and essentially brain dead. We had to keep him like that for several days and finally removed him from life support

Even then it took several hours before they pronounced him dead

We treat our pets better than this and allow them a dignified death

I'm a Republican. I don't buy into Mindwars bullshit articles because she's fucking stupid and consistently wrong. She posts fake shit every God damn day. She's weird as fuck.

I don't want to be fed lies, even if those lies are convenient for my personal political beliefs.
