This practice of labeling any protest as a function of a political party is ridiculous, and is meant only to foment division among us. Were the people involved in this incident carrying flags with the names of Democratic politicians on them? They seem to be activists concerned with the homeless, not people who identify themselves as members of the Democratic Party acting on behalf of this party, whereas the terrorists who attacked Congress openly identified with a political candidate who is a republican, carried flags with his name on them, and resorted to a terrorist attack on Congress to keep him in office.

I would like to see some charity for the homeless. There are villages of boxes and tents under every overpass on 35E through downtown Dallas. There's seems to be 10 times more campers than four years ago.

I've heard of some places helping those people, but it usually takes a wealthy person with a big heart to rent the whole building out for six months.

Oly Housing Now, a homeless activist group, needs to utilize brains, not force.
