Democrats Announce Major Changes In House Rules

Why is it that Joe Schmoe, a TSA agent, has to work without pay while our "esteemed" congress keeps heyying their 5 figure salaries??? Something is definitely wrong with that scenario, as is congress being allowed to vothe themselves a pay raise...

We pass these huge spending bills and then bitch when it's time to pay up.

Good news.

Let's just get it over with and raise it to 999 decillion and mail every one a check for a trillion. I mean who cares right. It's not backed up anymore anyways .
Don't give Pelosi and OC ideas. They would take that and run with it. Guareanteed vote getting.

Democrats will revive the "Gephardt Rule," introduced in the late 1970s by Rep. Dick Gephardt, D-Mo., that automatically raises the debt ceiling — the nation's borrowing limit — once the House passes a budget.

Democrats Unveil Changes To House Rules On Debt Ceiling, Ethics

Just one of them.

That's right. There won't be anymore shutdowns by the House nutjobs. And because McConnell isn't going to allow it in the Senate, there won't be anymore shutdowns for any reason. Looks like the rightards are going to have to settle for whining and crying.
/----/ And this helps reduce the debt how? Libs love to re debt.
Not like Trumpers. Who can say trillion dollar deficit and 21 trillion dollar debt under Trump. Trumpers are only opposed to debt when it is not them running up the credit card.

8 trillion under O but you weren't squealing at all.

Thanks to the Treaty of Versailles, Germany’s ability to produce revenue-generating coal and iron ore decreased. As war debts and reparations drained its coffers, the German government was unable to pay its debts.
Do you wonder why Obama wanted to wage war on coal or iron? Maybe the 1/2 white faggot wanted to bankrupt America so George Soros, (the guy who almost bankrupted England) could make even more? Gee, this scenario of Germany sure looks like what is going in the US right now. Again, stop the bullshit War on Poverty and soon the US would be back in the green.

The War on Poverty has cost $22 trillion -- three times more than what the government has spent on all wars in American history. Federal and state governments spend $1 trillion in taxpayer dollars on America's 80 means-tested welfare programs annually.

/----/ Starbucks coffee will jump to a $million a cup

Yeah, but most don't understand that concept.
I have studied inflation and its causes. Back in 1932 an ounce of gold was worth...…….$20 because that was what a $20 gold piece was worth. But FDR need to get more cash available with this welfare programs so he took the US off the standard, paid $25 for every ounce of gold(but gave coin collectors the right to keep some of their gold) so instead of the gold being more valuable, it lowered the dollars buying power by 1/4. Today that same ounce of gold that cost $20 back then is now available for around $1,300 an ounce. Not increasing the value of the gold, but once again devaluing the value of the dollar by 1/1300th. Dumbass liberals dont know math, or logic, so all this goes right over their peabrains….

With increasing the nations debt limit, just going to increase the inflation, thank you again, Democrats...

Or we could just hold our "leaders" accountable.

What difference does it make? They always vote to raise it anyway

Trump spending billions bad....Democrats spending billions good....
Yea...ignore the hypocrisy of Republicans shutting down the government over deficit spending.
