Does ANYBODY actually tell the whole and complete truth these days in a congressional hearing? On either side, every one of them makes it sound like they'll do this and they won't do that but they never come out and directly say I will not vote to overturn Roe v Wade, or I will not vote to ban assault weapons. Another part is the Senate, where we give votes to unpopulated rectangles where no one actually lives. (And this was by design, because the GOP in the 19th century wanted to blunt the political power of confederate states returning to the union).

And of course, the biggest flaw at all, letting crazy people buy military grade weapons because the Founding Slave Rapists couldn't define a militia clearly.
