Look at VP poseur Governor Gretchen Whitmer and her list of essential services. She hopes to get Biden's pick for the VP slot, so she is not trying to repulse fellow Democrats, but toget their confidence and preference for leadership, and possibly POTUS if Joe kicks the proverbial bucket.
So she is not going to the far left in her mind at all, nor in the minds of her advisers. And what is essential?
Abortion services.
Pot stores.
Health care and public health workers
Law enforcement, public safety and first responders
Food and agriculture
Energy
Water and wastewater
Transportation and logistics
Public works
Trash pick-up and disposal
Communications and information technology, including news media
Critical manufacturing
Hazardous materials
Financial services
Chemical supply chains and safety
Defense industrial base
Child care workers, but only to the extent necessary to serve the children or dependents of other critical infrastructure workers
Workers at designated suppliers and distribution centers
Workers in the insurance industry, but only to the extent that their work can’t be done via phone or remotely
Workers and volunteers that provide food, shelter and other necessities of life for economically disadvantaged or for people with disabilities
Workers who perform critical labor union functions
But what about clergy? What about a priest to give you last rights as you slowly die? That is essential to a whole bunch of people, but not to dear Gretchen.
How about gun stores? Isnt the right to self defense an essential business? Not to Democrats, apparently.
Labor unions, si, but priests, No! so says UberLaurd Gretchen!
And when does this 'emergency' end? Periods of emerge3ncy powers are not supposed to be open ended, but for a specified period of time.
Can someone tell me what the end date is of Gretchens power madness?
