Democrats Say to Hell with Poor Kids

Democrats are liars and there's no bigger lie spewed by lying Democrats than "its for the kids".

The big lie is that Republicans are for "family values", and then they vote against maternity leave, higher minimum wage (which help poor families), universal health care, mandated vacation time, and school lunches for poor kids.

DON'T work. The problem with public HSs is inner city ones that don't work because they're in an underserved, poor WAR ZONE. DUH.
From YOUR link:

"None of these earlier studies reported significant negative effects on test scores, which adds to interest in what might be happening in Louisiana and Indiana that could explain negative effects. Is it something about how the research studies were designed, how the programs were structured, the quality of the public schools against which private schools were being compared?"

"There was an oddity in the structure of testing in Louisiana. Tests used there were mandated by the state to be the ones used for the Louisiana Education Assessment Program (LEAP) carried out in public schools. Students that used their voucher to attend private schools had to take LEAP tests, though other students in those schools did not. Because LEAP tests are part of the state’s accountability structure for its public schools, the tests are ‘high stakes’ for those schools but low stakes for private schools. Perhaps students in the voucher group did worse than those who remained in public schools because the public schools taught to the test, whereas the private schools did not."

More needs to be known about long-term outcomes from these recently implemented voucher programs to make the case that they are a good or bad investment of public funds.

Family values and support for public laws enforcing specific programs have nothing to do with each other.

It is no accident that the Democrat Party stands for the very same things that the Communist Party did.

I disagree, IMHO they don't stand for the very same things that the Communist Party did, true Communists ultimately wanted a stateless society and thought that religion was an impediment to that end whereas the Democrats worship the state and think that religion gets in the way of making the state more powerful. They share methods, practices and the same idiotic economic theories but not the same belief system. ;)

How about you take a look at the aims of the Communist Party, USA, and the aims of the modern Democrat Party.
I'm talking about Communism as defined by Marx and Engels, it's a stateless society, the fact that according to Marx society must pass through lower stage Communism (Socialism) to get there and that the Democrats happen to adhere to some of the methods for facilitating socialism is in my opinion, coincidental. The progressivism that the Democrats adhere to in order to turn the common citizenry into a uniform soup of tax slaves isn't the idealism preached by Marx, it's the objective pursued by Medieval European Nobility (in other words Modern Day Feudalism). Do you really think the Democrats are interested in a stateless society? That would be slaying their own god, no?

Say what you will about the ideals of Communists but equating the Democrats to Communists is an insult to Communists, at least Communists are driven by principle (as misguided as those principles may be), the Democrats (Progressives) are driven by nothing other than the quest for state power as a means to control and economically exploit the citizenry.

The Democratic party has lost its mind — and its soul.

“Democrats claim to stand for the poor, immigrants and nonwhites. Yet given a chance to actually support someone who is dedicated to improving education for all America’s children, especially those trapped in urban failing schools, the Dems’ said no, hell no. . . . Trump has made rookie errors, but his resolve in picking DeVos and sticking with her proves he is deadly serious about fixing what’s broken in American education. What, pray tell, are Democrats serious about?”

Money and power.
DeVos was totally unqualified without an ounce of experience, just like El Presidente
Enough about Obama, he's out of office now, time to stop harping on what a completely inexperienced and unqualified executive he was.
If he was inexperienced, what could you possibly call Trump??????????????????????????????????/

I'm putting the spotlight on every collectivist doctrine.
That includes, but it not restricted to, communism, socialism, Liberalism, Progressivism, Fascism and Nazism.

And, clearly, the Democrats fits right in there....which one? Depends on the day of the week.

Let's take the extremes as 'bookends'...

1. In Thoreau’s On the duty of Civil Disobedience, he states: “ There will never be a really free and enlightened State until the State comes to recognize the individual as a higher and independent power, from which all of its own power and authority are derived.”

And, here...the obverse:
2. "We must rid ourselves once and for all of the Quaker-Papist babble about the sanctity of human life."

What good does executive experience do? You are the same people who told us when McCain ran that a President needed military experience. Now where is Trumps political experience? He has shown that he knows nothing. This is the man who called a military leader in the middle of the night to ask him if a strong or weak dollar was better. The man is nuts

While the programs are great for colleges — they have enabled an astronomical increase in tuition — they contain few measures holding the institutions accountable to their students. • Government spending has exploded, amounting to $29,867 per household in 2015.
• The national debt has risen to $125,000 for every tax filing household in America—a total over $18 trillion.
• The government takeover of health care is raising prices and disrupting markets.

The Census Bureau reports that since Obama became President 7 years ago, real median household income has fallen by $1,300 a year. Heritage Foundation Chief Economist Steve Moore explained in testimony before the Ways and Means Committee, “At 2 percent growth the economy doesn’t spin off enough jobs to increase wages, and tax revenues grow much too slowly to balance the budget.”
The recession officially ended more than 6 years ago. Wages and incomes have always grown in recoveries, not declined. Moreover, the American historical record is the deeper the recession, the stronger the recovery. The economy is supposed to boom in a recovery to catch up with its long term economic growth trendline. But over 6 years after the recession ended, that still has not happened. Underscoring the report's weakness, employers hired 59,000 fewer workers in March and April than previously reported. 29. "20 million college grads living with their parents, courtesy of Obama ...reflects how dismal the economy still is today. Today we have college grads — along with working moms and 60-somethings — flipping burgers at Wendy’s and stocking the aisles at Walmart. Left-wing groups and union leaders are now demanding “a living wage” for jobs that were never intended to be held by heads of households. Who’s against higher wages for American workers? But wasn’t this what Obamanomics was supposed to deliver?
Seven years ago, Barack Obama promised a progressive workers paradise — a recovery from recession that would leave no one behind. Hope and Change would deliver high employment and rising wages. No one bought into this idyllic vision more than college kids.
President Obama and his supporters proclaim that he has saved America from the second Great Depression — a message we will hear again over and over in the months ahead. But even his own voters don’t believe him anymore ..." http://newbostonpost.com/2015/09/19...-living-with-their-parents-courtesy-of-obama/

U.S. economy slowed in the fourth quarter. For all of 2016, growth was 1.6%, weakest since 2011. http://cnnmon.ie/bkgnews

.... a full point lower than 2015’s 2.6% growth rate — which itself wasn’t anything to write home about. Barack Obama finished his two terms as the first post-war president to fail to achieve 3% GDP growth in any year of his presidency, despite having eight chances at it."

"OBAMA: Anyone claiming that America's economy is in decline is peddling fiction.” http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi...conomy_is_in_decline_is_peddling_fiction.html

OMG!!!!

You probably imagine that ObamaCare is still a great idea, too.....

Just one more failure by this tin-pot dictator, the titular head of the LGBT movement, to impose policies that will injure the American people.

Let's stipulate this:

Barack Hussein Obama, the selectee of the Liberals/Democrats has been

a. the worst steward of the American economy in neigh on 100 years

and

b. has left the world in the worst turmoil, and closer to nuclear chaos than any President in memory.

See if you can find a single error in any of those documented, linked and sourced failures by Obama.

Let me know if you need another thirty.

DeVos was totally unqualified without an ounce of experience, just like El Presidente
Enough about Obama, he's out of office now, time to stop harping on what a completely inexperienced and unqualified executive he was.
If he was inexperienced, what could you possibly call Trump??????????????????????????????????/
Er ...um an experienced executive, after all Trump has been an executive for over 40 years, remind me, how much executive experience did Obama have when he entered office?

"...how much executive experience did Obama have when he entered office?"

And, as much as he did when he left.
Political experience, everything trump lacks

Did it ever cross your mind that perhaps this is what the country wants?

When the professional politicians run things, people complain that they are professional politicians and looking out only for themselves. So now we finally have a non-professional politician to see if he can do things better than the professionals.

Trump doesn't owe anybody political favors. Trump does not care about reelection which is the primary concern of most professional politicians. He doesn't care about writing books or trying to make money giving speeches when he leaves the White House. He doesn't even want to get paid to do the job.

What a relief. Finally somebody that is only looking out for the country instead of his party, his future, his pocketbook, his legacy, just somebody that wants to actually do the job.
