Given the latest death tolls in black hoods last week, they're doing a fine job all by themselves in killing each off. I don't see any of these 'militias' out doing any of it, though; maybe the Inaugural BBQ's aren't over yet or something. Maybe the beer runs have screwed up the budgets and logistics planning.
In any case, most local police and sherriffs out West during the Depression deputized the local American Legion Post members and other organizations; Trump could easily do that if he finds the current manpower lagging.
