Senate Democrats are signaling they plan to take more of a hardball approach to pressuring Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) to support their climate and social spending agenda after months of kid-glove treatment failed to deliver his vote.

They’re calling him a racist, unpatriotic and everything else the Left accuse others of being while it’s really themselves they’re talking about.

If flips to Republican the Republicans control which bills come to a floor vote.

McConnell publicly stated that Manchin should become a Republican. Whether Schumer choked on his bagel and lox hasn't been reported.

Manchin should have made the move long ago but seems to have some odd attachment to the Democratic Party even though West Virginia is a Red State.

He is not going to flip. Right now he is the most important man in the country. If he flips he is just one more Repub you all will be attacking for being a RINO in 2 months.

But it is sort of funny to watch the Repubs beg him to come to their party after basically banishing Cheany who is 1000 times more conservative than Manchin.

Actually, I do believe him when he articulates the reason why he won't be voting for the unpatriotic bill that the Dems want to pass. So, he's doing it for the right reasons. That doesn't change the fact that he is a pure-bred Liberal and should just stay right where he is.
