DeSantis tells the feds to pound sand, not allowed in polling places

Democrats are slick, I have to give them that.

They knew damn well that feds could and would be turned away from a state-run election. So, now they can say that DeSantis has something to hide, and if there are any Democrat shenanigans in Florida, they can say “that’s why we wanted to be there!”

Another example of Desantis being an idiot:

(3)(a) No person may enter any polling room or polling place where the polling place is also a polling room, or any early voting area during voting hours except the following:
1. Official poll watchers;
2. Inspectors;
3. Election clerks;
4. The supervisor of elections or his or her deputy;
5. Persons there to vote, persons in the care of a voter, or persons caring for such voter;
6. Law enforcement officers or emergency service personnel there with permission of the clerk or a majority of the inspectors; or
7. A person, whether or not a registered voter, who is assisting with or participating in a simulated election for minors, as approved by the supervisor of elections.

DOJ poll monitors would be covered by #1 in the list.
Nonsense.

Nope! You're wrong, Miss beta male Richard H.

Department of Justice monitors are not permitted under Florida law. Section 102.031(3)(a) of the Florida Statutes lists the people who “may enter any polling room or polling place.” Department of Justice personnel are not included on the list.

If you think that my links to Florida State & Federal law, make me a liar, you have to be a total idiot.

If you think that you've debunked those laws, you're not just an idiot but a fool also.
As already posted, you only posted what you wanted. You left out key information. Like what an "official poll watcher" is. Dumbass.

Once again, you’re the dumbass. Florida wasn’t even listed pre Shelby County. After Shelby County, it still wasn’t listed.

Pursuant to Section 3(a) of the Voting Rights Act, federal observers are currently authorized in 4 political subdivisions in 2 states by federal court order: Alaska (3) and Louisiana (1).

Political subdivisions that are eligible for federal observers as a result of court orders under the Voting Rights Act:

StateSubdivisionTerms
AlaskaDillingham Census Area
Wade Hampton/Kusilvak Census Area
Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area
9/20/21 order, effective until 12/31/22
9/20/21 order, effective until 12/31/22
9/20/21 order, effective until 12/31/22
LouisianaSt. Landry Parish12/5/79 order, effective "until further order of this Court"

ELECTION MONITORING

In light of the Shelby County decision, the Division is not relying on the Section 4(b) coverage formula as a way to identify jurisdictions for election monitoring. The Division can continue to engage OPM federal observers where there is a relevant court order.

Did you read your own citation???

Or, maybe you are somehow attempting to claim that there exists some “relevant court order” for anyplace in Florida? If so, feel obligated to cite it.

Otherwise, Gov. DeSantis is ON the mark.
