Did Obama DESERVE to become president??

And you may notice that I didn't say whether Obama deserved it or not.

I look at myself and my fellow citizens. We have become very shallow. We vote based on celebrity and touchy feely things, not based on a familiarity with issues. Obama benefited from this.

But I judge myself and my fellow Americans for this. Not Obama.

You mean like electing Ronald Reagan? An Actor? That shallowness?

Reagan, the governor of California?

C'mon.

That's a laugh. Thanks!

But I sorta get it. Distinguished for a conservative would be killing a mess of brown people in a foreign land..or gutting a viable company and firing all it's employees.

Don't you think it's rather telling that I've asked a rather simple question which all of the progressives that support Barack Obama have since avoided like the plague? Why is it that none of you want to point out to me all of the exceptional things that Obama has done for the past twenty years that should have made us all want him as our President? He's supposedly brilliant, correct? Then where are the examples of that brilliance? Where are the insightful articles he wrote while President of the Law Review? Where are the complex cases he won as a lawyer? Where are the scholarly pieces he wrote while teaching constitutional law? What are "his" pieces of legislation in either the Illionois Senate or the US Senate?

It's pretty obvious that deep down, most of YOU are now quite aware that he's not what he was made out to be by the Main Stream Media. So if that's the case...then why do you want this rather unexceptional man to have another four years? Why aren't you demanding that Hillary Clinton run and Barack Obama do a Lyndon Johnson and go play golf full time?

What difference does it make about his qualifications. Here's some of the things he has done:

Obama's Job Approval Drops Below Carter's

Since March, Obama's job approval rating has hovered above Carter's, considered among the 20th century's worst presidents, but today Obama's punctured Carter's dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama's job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter's 51 percent.

:eusa_boohoo:

Indeed

today for most Americans
the thought of reelecting Papa Obama
brings out this reaction

Don't care If you liked his policies or not.

Do you really think someone with that shallow a resumee derserved to be elected president????????????????

I think Obama is president for the same reason he got the nobel peace prize, because he's black. Don't care if that makes me racist, that's what I believe.

Name any other president in our history who got the nobel peace prize simply for being elected?

It's a sad testimoney to our nation. Even now, look at the GOP candidate? A man who made the decision to strap his dog to the roof of his car for a 12 hour drive. And people think that's the person who should be in charge of making the most important decisions in this country?

No wonder we are failing as a nation.

The Left has always been big
on " symbolism over substance"

Anybody who wasn't black and with Papa Obama's weak resume and associations
would never have been given such an easy pass by the MSM or elected

Remember all the crap about his middle name or
the claims of racism, if you disagreed
Can we say Hussein now?

Of course, since the Left and the MSM "blew their wad"
last election with the fake cries of racism, they are going
to have a tough sell this election.

Which is why the Left is going to go very negative.
It is not like he can run on his record

Even now, with the lack of press conferences and the
soft ball questions he gets, the MSM's soft treatment of Obama-
supports the soft bigotry of low expectations.

The question becomes, is the liberal press just showing "true" support for Papa Obama's failed policies or
are they showing the liberal's soft bigotry of low expectations that they have for minorities in general?
Of course, by keeping the bar low, it will be easier for Papa Obama to "pass the test"

The MSM use to say Papa Obama was "too big to fail" but really the liberals in the MSM
and liberal politicians like "Negro Harry Reid" meant "too black to fail"

I'm still looking for one of you progressives to step up to the plate and show me something "exceptional" that Barack Obama produced either as President of the Law Review, as a lawyer, as a college lecturer, as a State Senator or as a US Senator. My contention is that he's nothing more than a hollow facade...promoted repeatedly because of his "stature" of being the first black President of the Harvard Law Review but really never demonstrating anything exceptional since then. So prove me wrong! Show me some great piece of legislation that "he" crafted. Show me a scholarly work on constitutional law that he wrote while teaching the subject at the University of Chicago. Show me some brilliant legal case he won while he was a lawyer. Show me a thoughtful article he wrote while he was the President of the Law Review. Surely he's done SOMETHING?

Perhaps the Republican agenda since Reagan's first term has been the ruination of America as it once was....unless you want to consider the warm piss running down the backs of what used to be the middle class, Trickle Down Did Not Work:

Too true

Since they can't run on his record and they used up the race card
last election, they will need more

I have offered the following video to the DNC to help in their cause

Comrades,
Emotion will win us the day - not facts,
facts don't help us

We need to rekindle that "love" the people once had....

84. Returned money authorized for refurbishment of White House offices and private living quarters

So in your opinion, the American people would be better off if he hadn't returned this money? Note that this question requires a yes or a no or an i dunno.
