The virus comes from China and here in Europe some blame the English for the new variant and it is called the English covid and no one seems to have a problem with that pointing the finger at the English and yet the variant also comes from China.

Is there any evidence showing the China virus comment caused or contributed to these attacks? Trump did not blame Asians or the people of China he blamed the government of China for it which is reasonable as that is the country it originated in and China’s piss poor handling of it which allowed it to spread. Last more than a few of the attacks on Asians especially in parts of California notably Oakland and San Francisco have been by blacks a group that generally speaking does not take cues from Donald Trump or Republicans

Every Asian transplant I've ever talked to were patriotic Americans, anti-Communist, and generally Trump-supporters.

The ideal that conservative Republicans and Trump-supporters attack Asians is the stupidest thing I've heard all week. Idiot leftists who are spreading that lie are only doing it to protect their black voting base, who are the real people carrying out attacks on Asians.

They tried to do the same thing every time a Jew was attacked in the US.
