i was wondering what political accents they used when they colluded with the House of Romanov to win the newborn America's general elections.

I read that the English accent started before independence, but not very long before. The upper class started it to set themselves apart from the commoners. Most Americans weren't from that class. The commoners started there own accents later. Different English accents denote class and where you were raised, same here although tv is changing that. I think it was ask Marilyn in Parade magazine

I saw 1776------on BROADWAY, MANHATTAN NY. Both John Adams and Thomas
Jefferson spoke standard North East YANKEE ---doodle dandy-----it was sometime in
the early 1970s------a date. -------the best song was SIT DOWN JOHN-----with 'shut up john'
clearly implied. -----sang in standard north east yankee english
