Ahhh.. the trick of the lefties.. try and get the conservatives to say it has to be a GOVERNMENT handled solution...
The problem IS that it is government based to begin with

Again, moron
Reduce regulations to allow ANY group to negotiate group rates (groups of businesses, clubs, groups of people, HOA's, chess clubs, etc etc etc)
Reduce regulations to open up the marketplace across the board and across state lines
Make SIMPLE law that states that all citizens must be able to purchase a healtcare or health insurance plan regardless of pre-existing conditions
Enact tort reform to reduce lawsuits
Reduce regulations to allow individual practices or groups of practices to offer preventative care at a monthly subscription cost, leaving the catastrophic care to insurance or to health savings accounts
Make a SIMPLE law requiring all medical providers to publish a price list for good and services so that costs are not hidden behind some 'all inclusive' insurance plan
It is not government's duty or job to be your nanny, your insurance provider, your healthcare provider, the one that funnels forced 'customers' to approved businesses who pay the government off, r anything of the sort
Don't type it....Put it in a bill!
Actually after looking at it its just the same ol shit that's been rejected just reheated with gravy
Exactly
Fact is, Republicans will not stand behind any bill that has healthcare in it
It is a third rail with Conservatives

And yet dicks like Dottie will give Heritage credit for much of the bill.
You guys are way past due on your next round of medications.
What if ObamaCare works?
That's their fear. I described it several times as seeing sausage being made vs the taste of sausage.
Once ACA starts working and people stop being raped by their Insurance policies or it goes straight single payer people will like it. So repubs have to describe every part of making the sausage as being the next terrible thing. OMG someone got dropped! OMG the website! OMG! OMG!
Starting Jan 1, come hell or highwater, millions of Americans will have Obamacare insurance
Republicans are banking their 2014 election chances on repealing Obamacare. What are they going to offer the millions of Americans who lose their coverage?
Challenge to Republicans
Offer up a non-government alternative to Obamacare
Reduce regulations to allow ANY group to negotiate group rates (groups of businesses, clubs, groups of people, HOA's, chess clubs, etc etc etc)
Reduce regulations to open up the marketplace across the board and across state lines

Fixed...
It is not up to government to create the marketplace, offer the service at a discount to it's chosen few, mandate purchase of a plan that only they qualify, or be in the business of healthcare at all
Not bad and duplicates much of what is in Obamacare. Why don't Republicans have a plan?
Simple question Republicans: Why don't you push a solution for universal healthcare coverage?
Simple answer: Because Republicans do not want Americans to have universal healthcare coverage
First of all, there is no healthcare crisis that mandates changing the entire system. before ACA no one was being denied healthcare. Yes, there were a few problems that needed fixing.
making insurance companies take people with pre-existing conditions
eliminating maximum lifetime payments
fixing the outrageous cost of drugs, hospitals, and medical devices.
The real problems could have been fixed with a one page bill.
If the goal was to provide insurance to the 4 or 5 million citizens who did not have it, the govt could have bought each of them a policy for much much less than what ACA is costing, and left the rest of us alone.
ACA is not about healthcare or insurance-----its about a govt takeover of 1/6 of the economy and more socialism.

45,000 thousand Americans dying a year, many more going bankrupt and medical care skyrocketing up isn't a crisis to you?
Obama ran on the ACA..twice.
And won.
Americans thought it was a problem.

Again, you imbecile.. BECAUSE IT IS NOT THE JOB OF GOVERNMENT TO MAKE, IMPLEMENT, SUBSIDIZE, FORCE PURCHASE IN, MANAGE, OR FACILITATE ANY UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE OR HEALTH INSURANCE PLAN
None. There was no vote because there was no bill. There was no bill because it wasn't a Republican proposal. It wasn't a Republican proposal because Heritage is not a Republican group.Exactly

How many Republicans voted for the Heritage proposal?
At least they had a proposal 20 years ago

Yep.......after having their current low cost policy that they personally selected and liked cancelled because the gubmint knew what was better for them than they did......at a higher price. Yeah, that's a winning strategy. I'm sure you wouldn't mind at all if the gubmint took away your Birkenstock sandals and told you to wear Brooks Brothers wingtips because they are really what you need.

We will see about that won't we
Voters can decide whether they have better policies than they had before Obamacare. For those without insurance, the answer is easy. For those who were forced to switch policies, they can decide if they got a better policy for the money and vote accordingly
Since the Republicans are only offering to take away peoples policies, I like the Democrats chances in 2014

The American people say it is their job
All 320,000,000 of them ?
Or is there a chance that some of them don't.
And that your generalization is a load of crap.

Thats the way our elections work isn't it?
Obama specifically ran on passing a healthcare bill in 2008. He won election in a landslide
The people have spoken

Well, that would be nice (if it fit your comment)
So explain to me the historic loss of the house by the dems in 2010.
