That is what the government should do. It should stamp out all liars and only allow the truth to be said. I really think that modern liberals do see the danger in allowing the government to regulate any kind of communication but purposely cover up their own intentions when they do it. They say things like we should challenge 'lies' and the government can be our friend. I never thought that their would be a day when we would have to have this kind of debate about free speech.

That is quite an interesting position because how do constitute an inherit danger? I actually think Islam is a dangerous religion because it often tells people strap on bombs and blow themselves up. Maybe we should ban Islam?

It wasn't that long ago they tried to use regulations to force equal air time for liberals which would have bankrupted the radio stations, they would have had to drop conservative radio shows. The Republican presidential candidate then took a different turn, suggesting that when he's president they'll "have problems."

I'm going to open up our libel laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money. We're going to open up those libel laws. Those laws have always existed and no one seemed to complain until...wait for it...Trump thought about using them to stop every lie said about him. He wasn't asking for new laws to be created. He was talking about already existing laws on the book and, I bet, that we can find a few cases where newspapers were sued under these laws somewhere. They haven't been overturned or found unconstitutional yet. Whether or not they should be is another issue all together.
