The bill does not specifically specify discussion about homosexuality.
So if a teacher reads a book about a family with a Mommy and a Daddy, isn’t that a discussion of their sexual orientation?

Is a book written about a little girl or a little boy identifying their gender identity?

The worst aspect of this legislation is not the regulation of K-3 teaching but the removal of confidential counseling for older students.

A student who visits a school counselor to discuss issues related to their home life, concerns about their own sexuality or requests for advice no longer have confidentiality.

That information is required to be turned over to their parents
