Many wonder if U.S. President Donald Trump has what it takes to be a celebrated 'capitalism diplomat' and if he truly is as shrewd financially as people claim he is in terms of macro-management and society-coordinated imagination.
Every chess fan knows of the greatness and giftedness of American chess-champion Bobby Fischer, an eccentric genius who changed the way the world looked at competitive intrigue in international chess.
So how would Trump stand against a 'micro-tactician' such as Fischer, and what should we take from a hypothetical discussion between the two (one is deceased) about 'consumerism imagination'?
====
TRUMP: American kids love video games!
FISCHER: Microsoft has done very well with Xbox...
TRUMP: Television ads glorify recreational gameplay and market offerings.
FISCHER: There are tons of ads even on Facebook!
TRUMP: I wonder where all this 'consumerism glitter' will take us...
FISCHER: America might become a giant carnival for corn-dogs.
TRUMP: To compete with the European Union, Wall Street must sound 'political.'
FISCHER: American consumers have to be wary about becoming 'mindless investors.'
TRUMP: How would you rate the 'American audience'?
FISCHER: I'd say we Americans have patience with education but very little with psychiatry.
TRUMP: Americans feel offended when 'taught' about consumerism.
FISCHER: Americans respect free-choice in shopping habits (e.g., eBay).
TRUMP: I'd rather be a politician than a public-relations specialist...
FISCHER: Discriminating between the two seems to be the stuff of new age Orwellianism.
