There was a deal cut between Bush, Jr and Clinton. They agreed that a convicted impeached President would be bad for the Nation. Instead, Clinton accepted a Presidential pardon with exactly the same conditions had Clinton been convicted AFTER the election. A 60k fine. 5 years disbarment from practicing law in all 50 states (the usual would be disbarment from that one particular state it was cone in). Clinton did not get off Scotfree. And I agree, it would have been bad for America if he were convicted by the Senate.

You are a Republican First and an American second. I am what's left of the Washington/lincoln/Teddyr American first and any party affiliation second like it should be.
