The private sector has always worked vastly better than Government. And maybe this eludes you...but the Government creates nothing. The money for the TVA and WPA came out of the private sector.

BTW, the national debt is currently heading for $18 trillion. They just voted to raise it above $17 trillion a month ago and it is now over $17,800,000,000,000.00.

The GOP should actually be hoping the exchanges work. Afterall, they are competitive insurance markets.


The INS companies are weaping over ACA because formerly they often had MONOPOLY control over health insurance in various states.

Ever bother to read history? They were about as effective and efficient as any program, private or government, has ever been. We have an example of private sector running things in our present health care system. The most costly in the world on a per capita basis, doesn't cover all citizens, and has third world results compared to the single payer universal health care systems in other industrialized nations.

What is happening is cancer patients have lost their health care and still need to be treated while they're waiting for Obama to get his shit together. Meanwhile many are reporting the loss of excellent affordable coverage and their only option is more expensive insurance that won't even begin to pay claims for months if ever. Oh, and here's the kicker; many of them have to begin searching for a new doctor or hospital that is stupid enough to accept Obamacare and risk nonpayment.
