Elon Musk buys Twitter!!

LOL. Saying Musk is not yet the owner is gainsaying? Those are facts, idiot.

Prove it. And it's not 'those' are facts. You are saying one thing.

He is not the owner yet?

Prove it. The fact, not those facts.

Prove what, dummy? That Musk is not yet the owner? LOL

Step 1: Twitter’s shareholders have to vote on the deal. Twitter will have to write a proxy statement explaining the deal, run it by the Securities and Exchange Commission, send it to shareholders and give them some time to read it before voting; this can take months.

Step 2. There are regulatory approvals, and FCC anti-trust laws, that Twitter and Musk need to get before closing the deal.

Step 3. when the deal closes Elon Musk will need to have about $46 billion in cash; he has agreements — with banks and with himself — to get the cash, but actually getting it can take time.

Remember the saying: There's many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip! Let me know if you are still confused.

He has what in the legal community of real estate is called “equitable title” but he does not yet have full legal title

Elon Musk — the “We will coup anyone we want! Deal with it!” self-serving libertarian billionaire — will not “fix Twitter” or what is wrong with social media today. That some expect a billionaire like him — or Trump — to “save us” is part of the problem.

Not that I care. “Let him try!” I say. He may have more luck than Trump has been having with his “Truth Social” media platform. Twitter does need somebody’s “Midas Touch.” It doesn’t make money, at least nothing like the amount of money that would justify the price per share Musk offered for it — it doesn’t rate its current “market value” either. Even Musk’s “offer” depends on financing that will put the company, after it becomes fully private, deeply in debt to the banks.

In the “good old days” when America was supposedly “Great” there wasn’t even an internet to get our rocks off on. The problems of our increasingly cynical, ever more oligarchically-run society are too deep to be resolved by another impulsive, narcissistic, self-serving billionaire. We don’t need the illusion of more freedom provided by giant media platforms where we — and every Dick & Harry — can scream at & insult one another to our heart’s content, though that seems to be the general desire these days. Even the “Karens” want this.

Maybe we will end up with a young handsome “independent” and thrice-married marjuana-smoking “President Musk” — who won’t even have to “coup” us. He will just find a way to get ever richer as we scream at each other insensibly. And when it really counts, when we are poorer and ever more miserable, he will tell us … “Deal with it!”

Yea. It’s a shame that we needed additional security due to the crybaby conspiracy theorists throwing a fit.
If Nancy had allowed the DC police and NG to provide extra security on the 6th as was authorized by the WH the protest would never have become a riot and there would have been no problem.

Odd she did so for the BLM/ANTIFA protests but not for the 6th... .

Step 2 is incorrect and the disputed matter at hand is that the FCC has no governance to make Musk do or prove anything beforehand . Once he’s underway can be a different manner. We know you commies love “prove yourself innocent” but he does not have to do that in order to become the owner of it.

And in America possession is still 9/10ths of the law with regards to property.

While Magnus has proven himself to be a double speaker of moderate ability.

Yes I agree just adding a bit more detail to it.

LOI phase retard and not LOL phrase.
That’s a double tard from you.
LOL What the fuck does "LOL phase" mean, exactly on the Twitter deal with Musk? They came to an agreement. Sure, but a fake video that says all Board members have been fired? Really? Now, you know why we call you gullible retards. :itsok:

That's exactly it, moron. Musk does not have possession of Twitter yet. He soon may but not yet.

Gad, just when you think we are scraping the barrel of idiots, you pop in.
