Enemy of my people

Exemptions, deductions and credits have to be paid for by raising tax rates on everyone.

If you lower tax rates on everyone without removing the exemptions, deductions, and credits which required tax rates to be so high to begin with, then you are being evil and irresponsible. You are INCREASING THE DEBT.

So let's try again, bearing in mind what I just said and that the Right constantly complains we have the highest corporate tax rate in the world:

They tell you that they are removing all sorts of tax deductions for the individual income tax. They tell you they are reducing the tax rates for individuals.

Then they tell you they are reducing the tax rates for corporations.

Notice what's missing?

That comes when the next budgets are due.

Starve the beast.

Of course neither side in congress will want that, but the tax cuts are a start.
Nope. You missed it.

It's right there in front of you, and you missed it.

I don't expect them to starve it, but i'd like to see something done and this is a start.

Perfection is the mortal enemy of almost good enough.
Yeah, except they aren't starving "it". They are feeding it. Bigly.

So do you see what's missing, or is it still eluding you?

That they will pass a bloated budget again and again probably?

Not missing it.

But if no one wants to limit the budget then increasing the debt will eventually starve the beast via a esophageal blockage.

TDS is strong in your first statement.

Up your Zoloft dose.
Just because someone hates Trump does not mean they like Hillary.

That is an extremely flawed false dichotomy.

I didn't reference Hillary, other poster did.

I'm just saying he goes nanners simply over thinking of Trump, much like you do.

I think it's sad, depressing, but at the same time, absolutely GLORIOUS that it was Obama and a government full of communist democrats who added $11 Trillion to the national debt in a span of a few years.

You fuckers can NEVER bitch about the bullshit "un-paid-for" Tax Cuts with any manner of credibility.

Anytime a complaint starts to form itself in a democrat mouth, the immediate response is:
$11 Trillion, bitches!!

In the House, Ways and Means Committee Chair Rep. Kevin Brady was making last-minute changes before the panel votes Thursday to deliver it to the full House. Brady's changes presumably are being made to meet the $1.5 trillion maximum that the bill is allowed to add to the $20 trillion deficit. A preliminary estimate by Congress' nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation said the House measure as currently written would add $74 billion more to 10-year deficits than allowed.

Senate bill to unwrap with tax cuts, end to local deduction

kneeling at football games will become commonplace - the entire stadium would be praying the fucking Republicans would leave the country .

$ 20 TRILLION DOLLAR SUCKERS !!!!!!!!!!!

You do realize that 74 billion funds the government for about 8 days, and you are concerned about that much over a 10 year period?

And the loss of the local deduction for most people under $200k will be made up by the increases in the standard and personal deductions.
Not on the coasts, and this pig was advertised as a middle class cut.
I have a very simple solution for California and New York with respect to the loss of the state income tax deduction.

Let California and New York increase their tax deductions at the state level. Let California and New York pull their own weight if they like tax expenditures so much.

Isn't that the whole point of removing/limiting the local tax deduction?
Removing tax deductions, credits, and exemptions allows for responsibly lowering the tax rates for everyone. (<<< giant hint)

California, New York and other high income states don't like having their deductions (government gifts) taken away from them.

If they like their government gifts so much, then let their respective states give them some. They need to stop asking the rest of the country to pay higher tax rates so they can enjoy government gifts at our expense.

Of course there is an easy way to pay for the 20 Trillion dollars that you libfucks suddenly have an issue with. Stop the war on poverty take the trillion dollars saved from paying the worthless fucks and in 20 years the debt is all paid for....Just another liberal failure that could be turned to make America Great Again.

War on poverty cost
The War on Poverty has cost $22 trillion -- three times more than what the government has spent on all wars in American history. Federal and state governments spend $1 trillion in taxpayer dollars on America's 80 means-tested welfare programs annually.

It's all about passing something, anything. That it does not benefit the middle class or spur consumption, which was its raison d'etre, are all irrelevant now. Just get a bill through both chambers and into committee. The gop senate rejected that same reasoning on healthcare. My guess is the spineless gimps will pass it, unless Corker and Heller find some stones, and to date neither have shown any

Makes you kinda long for a Govt shut-down, where / when they are out of work and can't do any more harm for a while, huh?

:p
I'd be ok with a two year timeout. Both progressives and conservatives have fundamental issues internally, and a tax cut just to give the gop something to run on and get out gop voters is pathetic.

Most fundamentally - where are the workers going to come from and what will cause wages to rise?

And while we're at it, end the war on drugs, guns, terror, and old people being employed (end Social Security). We can cut that time in half, at least.

So here is what you people are missing:

The Republican plan takes away deductions, exemptions, and credits from the individual taxpayer.

Individual taxpayer = you.

By taking away deductions, exemptions, and credits, they can responsibly lower tax rates commensurate with the cost of those deductions, exemptions, and credits they are eliminating.

The Republican tax plan does NOT take away deductions, exemptions, and credits from corporations.

And yet they are significantly lowering the corporate tax rate!

So how are those continuing deductions, exemptions, and credits given to corporations going to be paid for?

Borrowing from China. That's how.

Remember, you really don't tax corporations, you tax the people buying from the corporations.

With the mass exodus of illegal immigration to their own countries or Canada, is going to free up jobs that will be filled by working US citizens. When there isn't as many workers than jobs, then wages go up. Shame you didn't finish school to learn economics...
I today am making more than most college students with a 4 or 6 year degree. College is fucking worthless right now as too many kids come out of it with degrees in "Anal" sex studies....I guess the porn industry can still hire those grads...

There is no magical quality in the flat tax or a national sales tax which prevents your Congress from exempting yachts and jets from those taxes.

It's been virtually impossible to find anyone who admits to supporting the Beast anymore. Even those same people who were throwing accolades on her about her qualifications and so on.

Take a look at the income disparities between high school grads and college grads, and then try to come back here and tell us "college is fucking worthless" with a straight face.

Yeah, I have a few high school grads making 40 dollars an hour banging shingles on a house, while college pukes are working at Starbucks making 10 bucks if they are lucky. G, you need to stop trying to compete in the realm of ideas, as your lack of intellectual fortitude is showing...

Lol, libs are now gnashing their tooth and wringing their hands in consternation over debt.
I'm still waiting for one of you tards to attack Trump for increasing the debt.

The stench of hypocrisy is all over you.
