It's far worse than that.

The GOP had 2 years with Trump as they held power in Congress to secure the border but took a pass instead as they waited patiently for the DNC to take the House so that they could openly oppose securing the border.

Keep in mind that the DNC now wants us to believe that the same GOP will go along with Trump to take over the entire Federal government and end democracy even though they apparently can't even agree to build a border wall.
