They keep telling us that all the 'Russin misinformation' memes on Facebook greatly influenced the last two presidential elections. Well that works both ways especially when the consequences are censorship....Google is complicit in all of it either way.

In other words if all that power is concentrated into a global agenda
run through Silicon valley , and they control the flow of information online,
our democracy is all but finished. And if we have people selling out to China,
we'll even lose our military leverage.
