Unemployment is a major issue in most developed economies today
It is an issue in the U.S. because Republicans choose to use high black unemployment, which skews the numbers, as a whipping boy.
Despite Bush and Republicans outsourcing 8 million low wage, unskilled jobs, 145 million Americans are employed, near the most in U.S. history.
While 3.4 million skilled jobs are available in the U.S. and going begging.
The percentage of Americans working has dropped to the lowest rate in 30 years under this President. The unemployment rate for blacks in the US is double that of whites...almost exactly what it was BEFORE the recession. You really are one of the more ignorant posters on this board right now...and that's saying something!
