Facts that Show How Well The Economy Has Done Since Obama Became President

the ONLY accomplishment of Obama and his comrades in arms HAS BEEN to tear down this country and everything it stood for...

I can see how some of you would be proud of that..

I will have to give him one thing. after 6 hours of debate he did very reluctantly gave the order to kill Osama binladin

1. He enacted a $900 billion dollar fiscal disaster called the stimulus package which only served to increase the national debt and he failed on his promise to keep unemployment under 8%. The black community, from which he received 90% + of the vote, has an unemployment rate between 14-16%.

2. He has proposed raising taxes during an anemic economic recovery which at best would guarantee a double dip recession, and at worst, bring on a major depression. He has seeked to increase capital gains, dividends, and estate taxes, not even considering reducing the corporate/business tax rate of 35% which would incentivize the private sector. Moreover he seeks to punish the rich, redistribute wealth and declare class warfare.

3. In violation of the principles of capitalism and free enterprise, he has nationalized several aspects of free market production in the automotive, financial, and healthcare industries.

4. He has signed into law, Obamacare, a healthcare vision which creates 11 new taxes, 16,000 new IRS agents, $500B in cuts to medicare, 159 new government agencies and bureaucracies (to include a 15 member panel of bureaucrats which shall regulate the expenditures of Medicare), mandated individual American citizens to purchase a private sector commodity (which is not supported by the Commerce Clause), and has provided nearly 1400 exemptions to political cronies from adhering to the law he signed.

5. Since taking office, he has increased the federal debt $5 trillion dollars in only 30 months. And due to historic levels of excessive spending, he has created record deficits of $1.42T, $1.29T, and $1.65T in that same time. 41 cents of every dollar borrowed and 47% of the federal debt is now owned by foreign nations.

6. His proposed FY 2012 budget was voted down in the Unites States Senate, 0-97.

7. Food stamp recipients has increased by a whopping 41%, expanding an ever larger “dependency” class in the United States.

8. He has failed to produce a full spectrum energy independence resource development program while average gas prices during his tenure have gone from $1.89 to a high of around $4.00. He inappropriately commanded the release of strategic oil reserves here in the states, while giving Brazil $2B for its offshore oil exploration.

9. He has created a shadow government of some 40+ individuals termed “Czars” who are not confirmed by the United States Senate and respond only to him, yet have overarching regulatory powers—a clear violation of our separation of powers concept.

10. He has increased regulatory and bureaucratic burdens on American business through bypassing the legislative process with his executive branch agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency and the Food and Drug Administration.

11. He appointed and continues to support an inept and incompetent Attorney General who has failed to prosecute voter intimidation cases (New Black Panther party), initiated a dangerous gun-smuggling program (Operation Fast and Furious) that resulted in deaths to our own law enforcement agents, and he refuses to acknowledge and uphold a federal law, DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act).

12. He has failed to take the steps necessary to secure our borders and stem the flow of illegal immigration, termed as “repel invasions” in our United States Constitution in Article 1, Section 8 and Article 4, Section 4; and had the audacity to bring a federal lawsuit against a sovereign state (Arizona) seeking to protect its citizens from this threat.

13. He has violated the War Powers Act of 1973 and sought to redefine the term “hostilities” to justify his actions in Libya.

14. He has telegraphed Afghan troop reductions to our enemies—against the consult of his experienced Field Commanders—while embracing negotiations with our enemy, the Taliban, and reestablishing communications with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

15. He has placed the security of our most trusted ally in the Middle East, Israel, in danger while he increased funding to the Palestinian Authority (Fatah, just another Islamic terrorist group) whilst they have enjoined a reconciliation pact with long-standing terrorist group, Hamas.

It is clear to see that, regardless of your political persuasion—Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, Conservative, Liberal, or just plain Apolitical, Barack Obama is failing with a capital “F.”

Until next time . . . Wake Up America!

well, we'll just have to take his word on that since we have really never been shown any proof...Not to take away from out military, but I just find that odd..

We’ve racked up a record $15.75 trillion debt, record trillion dollar deficits, a first ever credit rating downgrade, rising inflation, and social safety nets going completely broke within the next 20 years.

But where are the jobs? Where’s the recovery? Where are all the fruits of those Keynesian economic solutions?

There aren’t any results, but plenty of excuses. Let’s run down the list of the top 25 that Obama has used to blame anything but his own policies:

George W. Bush

Tax breaks

Arab Spring

Japanese earthquake

Globalization

George W. Bush

Automation technologies

Eurozone crisis

Republican House

ATM usage

George W. Bush

The Weather

Bad luck

Super PAC ad spending

Lack of stimulus money

George W. Bush

The Tea Party

Unmanned airport ticket kiosks

Oil speculators

Underestimation of economic crisis

George W. Bush

Businesses not expanding

Americans being soft and lazy

Fox News

Energy companies not getting behind…algae

So what’s left? Planetary alignments? The McBurglar? The 2012 Mayan doomsday prophecy?

33 Shocking Facts Which Show How Badly The Economy Has Tanked Since Obama Became President

Barack Obama has been running around the country taking credit for an "economic recovery", but the truth is that things have not gotten better under Obama.
$Obama-Follow-Me-300x300.jpg

#1 When Barack Obama entered the White House, 60.6 percent of working age Americans had a job. Today, only 58.7 percent of working age Americans have a job.

#2 Since Obama has been president, seven out of every eight jobs that have been "created" in the U.S. economy have been part-time jobs.

#3 The number of full-time workers in the United States is still nearly 6 million below the old record that was set back in 2007.

#4 It is hard to believe, but an astounding 53 percent of all American workers now make less than $30,000 a year.

#5 40 percent of all workers in the United States actually make less than what a full-time minimum wage worker made back in 1968.

#6 When the Obama era began, the average duration of unemployment in this country was 19.8 weeks. Today, it is 36.6 weeks.

#7 During the first four years of Obama, the number of Americans "not in the labor force" soared by an astounding 8,332,000. That far exceeds any previous four year total.

#8 According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the middle class is taking home a smaller share of the overall income pie than has ever been recorded before.

#9 When Obama was elected, the homeownership rate in the United States was 67.5 percent. Today, it is 65.0 percent. That is the lowest that it has been in 18 years.

#10 When Obama entered the White House, the mortgage delinquency rate was 7.85 percent. Today, it is 9.72 percent.

#11 In 2008, the U.S. trade deficit with China was 268 billion dollars. Last year, it was 315 billion dollars.

#12 When Obama first became president, 12.5 million Americans had manufacturing jobs. Today, only 11.9 million Americans have manufacturing jobs.

#13 Median household income in America has fallen for four consecutive years. Overall, it has declined by over $4000 during that time span.

#14 The poverty rate has shot up to 16.1 percent. That is actually higher than when the War on Poverty began in 1965.

#15 During Obama's first term, the number of Americans on food stamps increased by an average of about 11,000 per day.

#16 When Barack Obama entered the White House, there were about 32 million Americans on food stamps. Today, there are more than 47 million Americans on food stamps.

#17 At this point, more than a million public school students in the United States are homeless. This is the first time that has ever happened in our history. That number has risen by 57 percent since the 2006-2007 school year.

#18 When Barack Obama took office, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline was $1.85. Today, it is $3.53.

#19 Electricity bills in the United States have risen faster than the overall rate of inflation for five years in a row.

#20 Health insurance costs have risen by 29 percent since Barack Obama became president, and Obamacare is going to make things far worse.

#21 The United States has fallen in the global economic competitiveness rankings compiled by the World Economic Forum for four years in a row.

#22 According to economist Tim Kane, the following is how the number of startup jobs per 1000 Americans breaks down by presidential administration...

Bush Sr.: 11.3

Clinton: 11.2

Bush Jr.: 10.8

Obama: 7.8

#23 In 2008, that total amount of student loan debt in this country was 440 billion dollars. At this point, it has shot up to about a trillion dollars.

#24 According to one recent survey, 76 percent of all Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.

#25 During Obama's first term, the number of Americans collecting federal disability insurance rose by more than 18 percent.

#26 The total amount of money that the federal government gives directly to the American people has grown by 32 percent since Barack Obama became president.

#27 According to the Survey of Income and Program Participation conducted by the U.S. Census, well over 100 million Americans are enrolled in at least one welfare program run by the federal government.

#28 As I wrote about the other day, American households are now receiving more money directly from the federal government than they are paying to the government in taxes.

#29 Under Barack Obama, the velocity of money (a very important indicator of economic health) has plunged to a post-World War II low.

#30 At the end of 2008, the Federal Reserve held $475.9 billion worth of U.S. Treasury bonds. Today, Fed holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds have skyrocketed past the 2 trillion dollar mark.

#31 When Barack Obama was first elected, the U.S. debt to GDP ratio was under 70 percent. Today, it is up to 101 percent.

#32 During Obama's first term, the federal government accumulated more new debt than it did under the first 42 U.S presidents combined.

#33 When you break it down, the amount of new debt accumulated by the U.S. government during Obama's first term comes to approximately $50,521 for every single household in the United States. Are you able to pay your share?

Tit for tat is not usually effective. Bottom line, in these terms discussion and pointless. But I progress, a thousand pardons.

No Chrysler or GM: Mitt Romney's version of America. No wonder he lost.

Companies are born, they die, Capitalism moves forward.

Is your understanding of business so limited that you believe Corporations virtually last forever?

No, my understanding is that they go out of business all the time, especially back when Bush was in power, clodhopping his way through the White House, oafing it through speeches, and killing innocent Iraqis and Americans in the dumbest war ever.

Thankfully, Obama has started to put all that to an end.

So, all the business failures that happened since 2009, Daffy's, Hostess, THQ, Air America Radio? Obama stopped these companies from going bankrupt?

Good to know. I thought I imagined those companies went out of business.
