FLA vaccination rate nearly identical to the national average. The Left using Covid numbers to attack Ron Desantis.

Florida vax rate is at 54%, the national average is 56%. The Left is just doing what they do: using Covid to attack Ron Desantis. It's all about political leverage. You imbeciles might for once consider that there are multiple factors in Covid infection rates, not just your overly simplistic 'vax rate'.

I can tell Desantis and the GOP with their head God Trump will magically make the virus disappear with the petition to God they have created.. Soon to be presented with a new American flag...

The Shock and Reality of Catching Covid After Being Vaccinated

By Steven Findlay APRIL 16, 2021

Excerpt:

In data released Thursday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that at least 5,800 people had fallen ill or tested positive for the coronavirus two weeks or more after they completed both doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine.

That was from April 16

Doctor: Vaccinated people can still test positive for COVID, not likely to get as sick

Excerpt:

Jordan says it’s not unusual for someone to still get the virus after getting vaccinated. “We found a more, a larger percent of people that were positive after that wait period for the Johnson & Johnson.”

Of her 43 patients who tested positive for COVID, eight still got COVID even after getting vaccinated. Two received the Pfizer vaccine, two opted for the Moderna vaccine, and four got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

In Florida, 12,031,065 people or 56% of the state has received at least one dose.

Overall, 10,320,953 people or 48% of Florida's population has been fully vaccinated.

Doses delivered and administered in Florida as of July 22, 2021

Florida has received 25,531,465 doses so far, administering 86% or 22,012,651 of the doses.

The left, right and center are the majority of US Citizens who are not stupid, the rest don't wear masks and the morons don't get vaccinated.

Consider this, along with the FL Governor's leadership:

2 weeks. What a bout 4 weeks. Even so, 5000 out of 5 million is a pretty damned good record. And then those 5000 are only sick for up to 3 days with mild symptoms. Your own Cite is positive all the way.

You missed the point of the articles completely, how did you do that?

They plays these silly little games to cover-up for something else.

Not surprisingly you have either missed or ignored the obvious point I made. There is statistically NO DIFFERENCE in the Florida vaccination rate and the national vaccination rate. But there is a large difference in Florida infections relative to the rest of the States. Soooooo there might be O-T-H-E-R F-A-C-T-O-R-S involved.

Exxxxxactly

Yeah the politics is the rest of the story....

:cuckoo:
Well, maybe. Fact is that DeSantis has long been proud of his flaunting of conservative measures to fight COVID, as part of a partisan culture war.

Are we supposed to ignore that as it blows up in their face?

Sorry. No. You made your bed.

the other factors is how the unvaccinated behave.
Since the florida unvaccinated dont distance themselves from others or wear masks, you have 20k new cases per day when there were only 2k per day two weeks ago.
