folks, Al Qaeda chief & bin laden successor Ayman Zawahiri has been smoked & compromised to a permanent end thanks to our brave American troops

Clinton is bringing up this bin Laden stuff to distract people from Lewinsky
That's exactly what happened. Otherwise why didn't he kill Bin Laden when our special forces were in his tent while he was sleeping with a bead aimed at him? He pulled them out and we didn't him until 2011.

It would have been possible had the Republican Party not followed the common sense use of masks, keeping space in the public and getting vaccines. Biddable fools followed them in public, in and on the White House grounds and Mar a lago infecting others.

"It's a Hoax" rings out in the Devil's Dictionary when Donald Trump promised several times that Covid was sure to disappear in the Summer of 2020.
He was going on the advice from Fauci and Birx who told him that they could beat COVID once herd immunity was established.
Turns out that those fake vaccines only lowered everyone's natural immunity and made them more easily contagious instead of the other way around. Biden can attest to that....since he tested positive as soon as they ended the treatments.

If you used to do these things, you understand intelligence is not 100 percent accurate

The bin Laden mission was about 60 percent confidence. Biden recommended they wait for better proof and Obama went ahead
This mission wasn’t 100 percent

Make a wrong choice and you create an international incident and kill innocent civilians, women and children

This one was Bidens decision to go ahead
The difference between this and the Bin Laden raid being we were risking assets to execute the bin Laden raid. This didn’t put any US lives or assets at risk so what’s the decision point? At worst we fire the mission and he’s not there so he’s tipped off but I read they had eyes on him when they fired so…..

Ask Jimmy Carter if Presidents are responsible for this stuff.

The botched rescue of the Iran hostages cost him the Presidency
That and the economic disaster that plagued his time in office. But again if this mission had been a failure you just would t have heard about it. Why would you? How many failed drone strikes were launched in 2020?

Also the Iran hostages were in the news every night. What percentage of US citizens could have told you Zawahiri's name before yesterday? 10-15% tops?

Americans aren't fundamentally well rounded individuals. They have focused knowledge that doesn't stray much past their employment field. So knowing who Zawahiri was, is on par with knowing who the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th president of the united states was.

When the Iranian General was assassinated, you Trump Humpers threw a party for Trump.
That's a bigger decision point that killing Zawahiri. This current strike was a no brainer. Didnt risk US lives or assets, get him and make headlines, and if it failed none of us would have even been aware it was launched. The only wrong decision would have been to say no.

The Bin Laden raid risked US SOF forces, as well as other assets, and we weren't sure he was even going to be there at the time of the raid.

The Soleymani raid had tons of political risk involved. Kill him or not there was the potential for serious blowback from the Iranians.

I agree. But everyone knew that the Iranians were holding US hostages in April of 1980 so the failed attempt to rescue them was a bigger political risk than going after Zawahiri a person few if any Americans were even aware of and using a tool that if it failed the Admin would have been under zero obligation to tell the American public that it even attempted to kill him in the first place. This was a zero risk operation. We need to stop acting like Biden just ordered the launching of D Day and should be lauded for his keen decision-making prowess.

You are so full of it! We were in states that masked, vaccinated and still we were no different than any other state. In fact, the vaccines, whether you get them or not doesn't stop the spread of Covid, nor does it prevent you from getting Covid.

Your common sense didn't work Goober.
You're a dangerous idiot. Trump convinced biddable fools like you not to use common sense. Even in the SF BAY AREA there were biddable fools who listened to trump and went into stores ignoring the common sense tactics.

The worst dangerous idiots continue to blame the Democrats and label them as fascists for "forcing" the public to wear masks, keep a social distance and receive vaccines and their boosters. There was no law with penalties for not doing so, though private businesses used common sense tactics to protect their employees and customers.

This is the reason for the pandemic to continue to infect the public.

Top Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed over the weekend in Afghanistan while hiding out at the home of an Afghan government official and Taliban member, the New York Times reported.

According to reports, President Joe Biden, who was isolated with a rebound infection of COVID-19, authorized the strike against al-Zawahiri. Biden will address the nation at 7:30 p.m. EST Monday evening.

He is among the most pursued terrorists in the world after the slaying of Osama bin Laden, MSNBC reported.

The Times also reported that the operation was not a military one, and instead was conducted through the CIA. The government won't respond to questions about it, however.

So Biden lied last year when he said Al Queda was gone from Afghanistan?

"Let's put this thing in perspective here. What interest do we have in Afghanistan at this point with al Qaeda gone? We went to Afghanistan for the express purpose of getting rid of al Qaeda in Afghanistan, as well as — as well as getting Osama bin Laden. And we did," Biden said in remarks from the East Room of the White House.

It was far from zero risk. Any American strike into a sovereign foreign country would be announced to the world. And if America tried to cover it up, it would be that much worse.

Look at when Russia denied one of their missiles shot down an airliner, and then the investigation concludes Russia did it. Admitting it, makes it look like an error. Denying it, makes it look like a cover-up.

Why is it that dem presidents think that when their poll numbers drop they can kill some old man in the dessert sitting on his porch and that will cause us to rally around them waving the very flag they hate....
Fuck this BS and fuck Biden.....

Sure he did Askews

This guy must be over 95 years old... we could have waited a few months for him to die of natural causes... what was the rush all about?.... Biden poll numbers?.... dems will kill to raise their chances in elections?.... of course they will and do all the time....

The worlds most dangerous entity... a democrat president with bad poll numbers....

How many failed drone strikes happened in 2018? You know that number isnt zero. How many successful ones were there? The US public has little to no idea how many people the US is killing via drones between the CIA, SOF, and national assets in play around the world.

How would anyone know it was a US strike? And why would a failed strike be any more or less an issue for said foreign government than a successful one? It WAS a zero risk operation. What would have happened if we launched that mission and blew up an empty building in Kabul? New orgs are taking calls from the Taliban now and reporting on what's happening from their perspective? Shit goes boom in Kabul once or twice a month. Why would our boom be on the news when all the other ones arent?
