I can't believe everyone missed this! Doesn't anyone know who Tom Fowler was! If you were at all into progressive rock, rock fusion of the 1970s and beyond, you assuredly have enjoyed his music and probably have it on your shelf. Tom just passed away July 2 at the age of 73. A musician from age 6 on, he found his calling as an electric bassist at 16, then went on to play with some of the greatest musical legends--- like Frank Zappa, It's A Beautiful Day, Jean-Luc Ponty, The Mothers of Invention, Ray Charles, Steve Hacket and many others.

Tom was the bassist for Zappa on many albums such as: Over-Nite Sensation, Apostrophe, Roxy & Elsewhere, One Size Fits All, Bongo Fury, Studio Tan, You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore Vol. 2, and many others.

He played with Ponty on two of his epic 1970s albums: Aurora and Imaginary Voyage.

He will be remembered with love.
