Fox News Bill O Reilly Says Eric Garner Didn t Deserve To Die

So if this far right wingnut admits the truth, it just makes you wonder about the assholes on this board who are so far right they fell right off their flat earth with this one.

You are one of the most loathsome posters on USMB, and that is really saying something.

Nobody who values limited government, rule of law, and respect for individual rights thinks Eric Garner deserved to die. Your Progressive All-Governement-All-The-Time ideology is the proximate cause of his death. Obama made selling loose cigarettes a crime in 2010, and has militarized police across the country. This is the logical result: excessive police force to ensure that petty regulations are followed.

So you can't defend Billy O, either. Is this enough to make you stop watching Fox Noise, SuperTwit?

You sad little sack of sophistry. I don't watch Bill O - I can't stand him, or Hannity for that matter. So shove your bigotry up you bunghole.

Eric Garner was a pothead. He had pot on him. Of course he deserved to die. One less druggie.

Having less than one ounce of marijuana on your person in New York is legal, dipshit.
So. Does that change the fact that he was a druggie and deserved to die?

They didn't apprehend him for drugs, dumb-shit. I doubt you've even read one word about this case much less watched the full video.
Go back to your litter box, you've left a few things uncovered and it's really starting to stink.

My oh my....such thin skin. Or perhaps they are actually scales.

I love this shit. Nutters are actually buying the high tax bullshit. It's classic.

But on any other thread they want the individual to own up to their actions and not blame the state. Classic fucking hypocrites. Kneejerk Pavlovians idiots.

A choke hold should only be used serious crimes; selling cigarettes is not serious.
Tell that to tax crazed Leftist in NYC.

Eric Garner was killed by the nanny state, which taxes cigs so much they send out death squads to kill those who evade their taxes.

Bill DeBlasio murdered Eric Garner.

Behold!! The idiot!!
Yeah blame the cops, not the authorities that told them to crack down on these guys stealing customers from legitimate tax paying businesses and taxes from the city.

Here's your problem. Conservatives tend to deal in facts and have different opinions based on those facts. That's why conservatives think NYPD screwed up and Wilson didn't. Different situations call for different opinions. Liberals tend to deal in coached talking points and emotions. Without facts to discern differences, everything looks the same to you.

My oh my....such thin skin. Or perhaps they are actually scales.

Speaking of reptiles...you claim you're a "hedge fund manager"....if that's true (I doubt it) you deal in leverage, long and short selling and derivatives.....that's the kind of reptiles who crashed our economy....and you claim you're a socialist? I wonder if any of your "clients" know your home address (flop house/fleabag motel)....you don't fit the profile...who would invest with a freak like you?

"Deserved" to die ? How many people believe he "deserved" it ?

Probably a ridiculously low number.

Even if you believe the cops were completely innocent, doesn't mean you think the man "deserved" to die.

I think the guy shouldn't have been resisting, but I don't think he deserved to lose his life.

This thread is a straw man.
Of course he didn't "deserve" to die.

But, with 31 previous arrests, he should have known the routine.

And NYC needs its tax money to care for the poor, the sick and the homeless.

I'm a hedge fund manager with a strip joint in Newark. What do you do?

I paint mustaches on dangerous dogs......a hedge fund manager in NEWARK? Highly unlikely....I might believe you're a stripper....with a fist full of solicitation arrests.....no wonder you hate cops....

Yep, he's a stripper....and if the guy is good looking and the money is right, he'll have sex with him in the alley behind the club.

He didn't deserve to die. And he wouldn't have if he hadn't resisted arrest.
You have every right to resist an unlawful arrest.
Yes, his 9th unlawful arrest for being a nuisance selling bootleg cigs outside of licensed tax paying stores.
He should have known the routine.
He should not have been killed. Suppose a store clerk had reported you for doing something he thought was illegal? It's not crime to be on a public sidewalk.

Facts really mean nothing to Liberals.

Bill O is not a far right wingnut.

You already invalidated your point with a mushy, incompetent, Liberal facsimile of thinking.

LOLOL

Eric Garner should still be alive today.

After saying, "I can't breathe" 11 times I think that's sufficient proof that excessive force was used by the cop.

I blame the cop who murdered and got away with it.

Here's the bottom line:

The crime rate has dropped drastically in New York City over the last 20 years. I mean it fell harder and faster than George Bush's economic fiasco in 2008.
("""
Today, in an astonishing twist, New York is one of the safest cities in the country. Its current homicide rate is 18 percent of its 1990 total — its auto theft rate is 6 percent. The drop exceeded the wildest dreams of crime experts of the 1990s, and it’s a testament to this transformation that New Yorkers now seem more likely to complain about the city’s dullness than about its criminality....." What really cleaned up New York - Salon.com

But the city still maintains an active plus retired police force of 50,000.

(The Patrolmen's Benevolent Association of the City of New York (NYC PBA), the largest municipal police union in the United States, represents over 50,000 active and retired NYC police officers.)

So you have a lot of bored cops with nothing to do except bust small-time misdemeanors like Eric Garner. And just like any pack mentality, and the cops are full of that, things go bad quickly.

The answer is: reduce the police force, lay a bunch of them off. But the police unions in this country are too powerful, so that ain't gonna happen.

Make them wear cop-cams? Ha. Eric Garner's death proved that doesn't mean shit.

Rudy Giuliani lowered the crime rate...by putting cops where criminals operated.....Times Square was a sewer before Rudy showed up....this new fool ended the stop and frisk tactic that's worked so well and so now the cops are less interested in seeing what comes out a guy's waistband than before....now he makes a move, he gets shot...as it should be. Little crime tolerated ends up in more crimes...that section of sidewalk is no longer a law-free zone....others saw what happened and will move their shitty little enterprises along until the next dumbass resists arrest on that block.....and so it goes.

Unless a cop has probable cause to question you in the event of a crime, he or she should never be about to lay one finger on you, without your consent

255,000 other misdemeanor arrests did not result in deaths of the perp, so wholesale changes such as you suggest would be over reacting.

Yes?
