I kind of get the Mueller strategy. If he went straight to Trump, he'd be missing all the supporting minions who'd get off scot-free. This way he gets the flipped minions to corroborate and support the massive documentation his team amassed during his 18 months.

Michael Cohen has a brand spankin' new subpoena served by the New York State Attorney General to him just a couple of hours ago

Manafort is getting ready for a brand new trial in Washington DC starting in a couple of weeks with 7 more felony charges

It was theater. The indictments DID NOT GO to a prosecutor. THey went BACK to the Intel agencies that did all the work that Mueller STOLE and put his name on it.
