that pisses me off almost as much as their 25 cents for a grocery basket

25 cents for a fknn basket are u kidding?
they have all of their grocery baskets locked up, you have to pay to use them
Yeah...that's a big Fuck you from me...pay a quarter to use their cart..... yeah...no

Was curious about 7-8 years ago or so when a Aldi's came to town.
Was in there for probably a total of 1 minute flat. Saw that everything in the store is off brand prepackaged franken-food.
Never went back.

You do most foods come from the same wholesalers and processors, right? You like paying for the name on the label, fine, but most of us aren't interested in paying for the Cambell's name on a can when a can from the same processing plant with a 'off brand' label goes for a third of the price. You think Alberto's or Whole Foods grows their own stuff or something? lol
is that why Campbells is broke
Ahh yes... Campbells soup flavored sodium in a can.

So? Not everybdoy has time to cook along with Martha or Patti every day, like some faggots and rich girls do.

Don't know, but a lot of people go broke shopping at swindle stops like Whole Foods and the other 'Organic' dumps. You think their wetbacks get paid more or wash their hands after picking their asses more often?

Aldi has one of the most ingenious ideas ever. They make you pay 25 cents for a cart, but you get the 25 cents back by returning the cart to where you got it. No carts littering the parking lots. No carts sitting in the middle of parking spaces.
Where I used to live in northern Kentucky before I moved here to east Tennessee, there was a store near my address named Bigg's and their carts were the same way.

God bless you always!!!

SJW who cannot tolerate differences in thought.

all the grocery stores have recalls.
Especially my short lived grocery story. Aaron's AIDS Market.
Anyone remember the diet product Ayds? Haven't heard of it for almost 40 years. Wonder why! :confused-84:
What bad luck for that company. To be an investor or owner must have been disheartening. I wonder if any one went to the poor house.
It's true that unfortunate naming can lead to bad outcomes/reactions. It reminds me of a time I was listening to music and was told it was inappropriate to be allow children to hear a song about drugs. The truth was that the song wasn't about drugs, rather it was about a female hero.

I guess that another one of Monsanto's experiments has failed again. But look at the bright side. They now can sell some more of their Hep A vaccines with weed killer.

giphy.gif

  • GM "pharmaceutical" corn that is being used in an experimental trial for hepatitis B vaccine is being grown in an environmentally sensitive area along California’s central coast, just 100 feet from a critical habitat for threatened wildlife species
  • The USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), which is tasked with overseeing GMO trials, takes a decidedly "industry-friendly" approach
  • APHIS has allowed Applied Biotechnology to continue with GM field trials despite violations and even though its founder had previously founded another biotech company that has been banned from GMO trials because of prior contaminations
  • Monsanto alone, which conducted about one-quarter of the field trials in the US, has received 35 notices of non-compliance from 2010 to 2013
  • Scotts is even testing GM grass seed in the family lawns of its employees
GM Corn Modified with Hepatitis B Vaccine Grown With Little Oversight

  • Genetically modified (GM) vaccines are already being produced – some are even on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommended vaccine schedule – even though, as is the case with GM foods, we know very little about their long-term effects
  • Use of foreign DNA in various forms has the potential to cause a great deal of trouble, not only because there is the potential for it to recombine with our own DNA, but also there is the potential for it to turn the DNA “switches,” the epigenetic parts of the DNA, on and off
  • GM vaccines are already in use and being administered to Americans; these include vaccines for hepatitis B, rotavirus and HPV, among others
  • The companies that make vaccines and GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are deeply intertwined, only recently spinning off or merging to specialize in one or the other
