Fundraiser for Jan. 6 defendants postponed until after November election

A high-profile fundraiser expected to be attended by former President Trump aims to raise over $1 million with the proceeds going directly to cover the legal fees of Jan. 6 Capitol protesters.

The fundraiser is being held independently of Trump’s campaign, but event organizers tell FOX Business that the former president has been invited as a headline speaker.

FOX Business has learned that the event, originally dubbed the "J6 Awards Gala" and now re-named the "Justice for All Gala," has been postponed until after the election on Nov. 5.

"The 'Justice For All Gala' event scheduled at Trump National Bedminster for September 5th has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts of invited guest speakers," event organizer L.J. Fino said in a statement to FOX Business.

A specific date has not yet been chosen.

He fed his supporters to the wolves. If he really cared about them, with all his money, most would've never spent more than a few hours in jail.
