There is no doubt that we were much better off when Bush was president than we are now. The damage that democrats did came at the very end of his administration when they finally had economic momentum for collapse.

But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that the Bush years were better. A strong economy vs a prolonged recession. Hmmm which is better? some corruption in government vs one of the most corrupt of all time. Hmmm which is better?

Wars for Americas interests vs. Wars for the President's pride. Which is better?

The truth of the matter is that Joe Wilson lied when he said the intelligence reports he was sent to Niger to investigate had the dates wrong and the names wrong. Nobody actually see those reports until months after he reported that they were inaccurate.

It's worth noting that Iraq already possessed enough yellow cake to make a single bomb and were attempting to buy materials that could be used to process that uranium into material that could be used for a nuclear bomb. Is it so hard to believe that while doing so that they wouldn't also be looking to buy additional yellow cake?

I've considered the issue repeatedly, and I can't think of anything Bushii touched that didn't turn to dog crap. And I voted for him in 2000. His immigration reform wasn't awful, but his own party threw him under the bus because he'd screwed up so many things that he had no pol capital left.
