Stop bringing up Bush all the time....Now lets talk about Jimmy Carter
Stop bringing up Bush all the time....Now lets talk about Jimmy Carter
I am bringing evidence of hypocrisy. Sorry if that hurts.
So...no. Not war weariness.
Obama derangement syndrome turning the previously bloodthirsty into Russian and Iranian and Syrian useful idiots.
remember how the left accused Bush of MAKING MORE TERRORIST with his war in Iraq?
well all of sudden that saying flew out their asses when it comes to Obama...he can screw up the whole middle east and all we is, crickets chirping
Obama has become a regular KILLING MACHINE and now War Monger...his base applaud him
- Republicans are historically war weary
- Everyone should be war weary
- Right or wrong, Iraq is a better country today (much better than Syria)
- Though misguided, Bush II got the support of Congress and many, many other willing partners around the world unlike the flip floping Obama/Kerry/Clinton/Pelosi/etc
- The entire Middle East is a craphole no matter who is or has been in charge in America and it's not our fault
- President Obama is flailing because he is and always has been clueless about the world
- I got stung by a bee today. How the Hell did a bee get into my house...
WHAT
THE
FUCK????
How can these people be so damn dumb????
The Reagan policies caused concern about the US overseas, but it was nothing compared to the disaster that was Bush.
To me, the most hilarious is the billion dollars Iraq has demanded to "fix" Baghdad.
The city released a statement saying The U.S. forces changed this beautiful city to a camp in an ugly and destructive way, which reflected deliberate ignorance and carelessness about the simplest forms of public taste . . . Due to the huge damage, leading to a loss the Baghdad municipality cannot afford . . . we demand the American side apologize to Baghdads people and pay back these expenses.
Baghdad demands $1 billion from US and apology
That's just one city. And these dumb ass right wingers think Iraq was a success when they threw shoes at our president and the guy that did it became a national hero.
Only the American right wing is so fucked up they look at a massive failure and terrible insults and see "success". That's how deluded they are. I honestly don't know how these people can be so stupid. It astounds me.

People really need to spend less time worrying about who's consistent or inconsistent
and more time worrying about what is the right thing to do.
Why are you such a RANCID little partisan liar?Obama has turned out to be a BIGGER war monger than Bush..
and now his cult members have to spin that...so now it's because of Bush Americans are against Obama going to war with Syria..
what a frikken joker you Obamabots are
but notice how all them ANTI-WAR people are now not SAYING A WORD...no protesting, no code pinkeos, etc etc
just MAKING EXCUSES for it
I watched Code Pink members being escorted out of the hearing yesterday on live TV while Kerry spoke.
See?
You are THEE worse poster on this board...bar none.
Here is a good question for both sides to this argument.
It separates the people from the sheeple.
Now, close your eyes and ask yourselves this question, would you support bombing Syria if Obama opposed it but Republicans supported it?
I don't expect you to honest with us, but I do expect you to be honest with yourselves.
Because of Bush II and his MASSIVE and CONSTANT lies to push the country into an unecessary war with the wrong country that not only cost countless of lives but left us near total financial collapse he's left the country with pretty much ZERO credibility.
No one wants to hear anything about war anymore, they're just sick of it. Can't believe anything anyone in the government says about it.
Thanks to G.W. Bush.
Good job!

good question , but don't expect the newly minted warmongers from on the left to answer

Consistency tells the tale.
It shows you folks true motivations.
All the people who claimed to be against Iraq but support bombing Syria, what has changed?
The ONLY thing that is different is that their guy is in charge now.
Republicans can at least claim that we've learned from the past 10 years that our military interventionism in the Middle East has not produced results worthy of the costs.
WE OUSTED A DICTATOR, toppled his regime and executed him at least in part over his use of chemical weapons.
If that didn't send everyone the message, what do you think a couple days of bombing will accomplish?
Then you MUST contend with the doctrine of unintended consequences!
Obama says "Oh, we'll just lob some cruise missiles in there and we'll wipe our hands of the matter."
That's amateur hour thinking at best.
This thing could boil over in a hillbilly heartbeat.
Military action is a HUGE risk, magnified 100 times in the Middle East.
Obama sound like a child playing with his army men.
I don't see the benefit, but the risk is enormous.
We would be fools to engage in this course to assuage the ego of a president with a big mouth.
Here's the $64,000 question.
Who on the left would have supported bombing Syria if Obama hadn't painted himself in a corner with his red line drawing?
My informed guess is....zero.
