I think the real problem with NATO is that a lot of its members don't want to forgo some of the government waste,, so they can properly arm their militaries.

If some of the countries can no longer afford their expensive and risky socialized medicine schemes, they need to dump them so they can invest the money into military equipment.

The members are not doing that.....especially Germany....
