If you win this way you end up a minority party governing a majority citizenry...it won't work...
Only a dirty democrat thinks he or she wins by using a liberal judge to cheat the public...you just end up looking silly and the very next election you are gone...voted out and as a bonus your party is hated and distrusted even more...
Minority party governing a majority citizenry.... perfect description of the GOP. No broken electoral college to win you state and statewide elections, so you resort to gerrymandering. But not in Pennsylvania and North Carolina anymore

Panel of Federal Judges Orders Quick Redraw of GOP-Created Congressional District Lines in North Carolina

Gerrymandering is an old institution in the US that now appears only good for one party, the Democrats.

If the GOP wishes to do it, the liberal courts will stop them and draw it themselves.
The GOP uses the courts to challenge Gerrymanders too...

For example:
"The case is not the only significant gerrymandering issue before the courts.

The US Supreme Court is considering a legislative redistricting case from Wisconsin and later will hear a complaint from Republicans in Maryland."

The article cites racism as the reason, but let's be honest, how many Republican blacks do you know? Obama got about 99.9999999999999999% of the black vote.
Which article "cites racism as the reason" ? The one you linked says that the court struck down the current map because it represents a "partisan gerrymander" and doesn't say anything about race influencing the current case, it does say that 2 districts in North Carolina were struck down in 2016 as racially discriminatory.

When did the courts redraw a line that favored the GOP?

I forgot, the Russians got Trump elected so it's all good.

In the last election it was clear for all to see that the dems didn't get their people to vote for them...traditional democrat votes went to the GOP in very blue areas of certain blue states...they don't get it...you don't win elections by cheating or redrawing lines on some stupid map you win by getting people to vote for you...the dems have lost their message and will lose in 2018...No one wants them in charge again....

Dunno, don't really care, I was just citing a CURRENT case brought by the GOP in Maryland that was mentioned in the article you linked in your OP because you attempted to characterize it as a favors Democrats only phenomenon.

Perhaps you should read articles a bit more closely before you link them? :dunno:

The 2 districts in question were original MANDATED by the US Federal Government and have been maintained all these years by the same suddenly after 20 years they are racist.

That's nice, although I don't see what that has to do with what I wrote regarding the contents OP's linked article and how he/she misrepresented it.

you aren't allowed to draw district lines illegally.

or does that confuse you?

the judges are not drawing the lines, dum dum.... the panel established will. and they are not "liberal".

but I do like the tantrum its causing you to throw.

Dems bitch about gerrymandering except when they are the ones doing it. At least the GOP does straight up and thru the back door on phony grounds.

One more case that will go to SCOTUS

So, Republicans draw partisan district maps which of course benefit Republicans, and the courts strike them down as partisan, and surprise, conservatives throw a fit....

Cry me a river.
