Last Friday, the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna reported to its multinational board of governors that Tehran was stonewalling on what the IAEA calls the “possible military dimensions” of its nuclear program. This might seem a humdrum, almost everyday event, hardly newsworthy, even, but for three fairly tectonic implications.

The first is that the “possible military dimensions” of the secret nuclear program that the Khomeinist regime was first caught red-handed with back in 2003 are exactly what the United Nations has been so singularly and acutely concerned about ever since. Tehran is still holding out, and U.S. President Barack Obama’s self-imposed deadline for securing a nuclear deal with Tehran is just around the corner.

I thought the Ayatollah Khomeini was dead.

We all know he is dead, but the article is talking about a Khomeini-like regime. It appears that it never evolved into something more civilized.
