they were once a cheap outfit, but their products have gotten much much better. Even their power tools are better. I had a DeWalt drill that broke its torque drive. Had it sent in and repaired and it did it again. So no tool has high ground!!!I did, a few years ago, encounter a couple of Ryobi tools that did not suck.
They were vacuum cleaners.
