Professor makes everyone write an essay why god doesn't exist. Only one boy stands up and refuses. So the teacher challenges him to a debate. If he wins he passes if he loses he fails.

I'm going to guess it's going to be a lot like Miracle on 34th Street where they prove in court that Santa is real.

Spoiler. He ain't gonna prove anything. He's going to tug on their emotions and win them over that way. Plus I'm sure the atheist teacher is a dick so the class already doesn't like him.

The other students snickered at the young man's question.

The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Everybody or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460 F) is the total absence of heat; and all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat." The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"

The professor responded, "Of course it does."

The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present." Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"

You're trying to implant an imaginary man into the scenerio plus you are probably going to try to re define god. If it is god is it the god that talked to noah and sent jesus or talked to Mohammad?

So when I do something bad, that's the devil? The pitch fork devil? We already have words for evil and bad. They're called EVIL AND BAD. Who is this devil person? Who came up with this devil?

When Jesus said that 'Satan was a murderer from the beginning' he was making a reference to the story of Adam and Eve where the serpent persuaded them to defy God causing their death and separation from God.


Who wrote it? who cares. It is just like a fairy tale, instruction for children about the different types and species of real evil bastards out there....like the ones who claim the devil is an invisible disembodied entity that whispers into peoples heads and makes them do bad things.


I believe that the church that claims to represent the god made man made matzo made by human hands came up with that devil so that people would be at odds with their own mind which would either make them go crazy or become a completely false person.

Either way the real serpent remains unseen........

In my more hardcore atheistic moods I sound a lot like you. Once I've calmed down and regained the ability to think well I realize my atheism is just me being pissed off with God.

If you don't believe that's fine. But if not, why write about him?

If a child is given an assignment about a dead God, by an atheist teacher, the issue should be with the teacher, and the school board. If a child is not allowed to express his views on God, wear a cross, or carry a Bible or refer to the Bible in school, neither should the teacher.

Just think about how much math or science wasn't taught because a teacher's agenda took precedent. Our kids are going to become as dull minded as their teachers.

What makes this fable lack credibility is that Einstein was Jewish.
