Google: Preparing for Totalitarianism

An ISP vs a search Engine is a different discussion. Google records keystrokes and your searches and every website you visit through their portal. They also filter results based on their political bias.

Other search Engines do not do that.

It doesn't track you

All ISPs keep record of your source and destination addresses ... that's how IP works.
And they do absolutely filter.

That's their business model. Customers pay for preferential service so that the rest of the world has access to a 'free' search engine. Not exactly Totalitarianism.

Debatable, and it does absolutely facilitate totalitarianism.

All record keeping ... public or private ... could potentially facilitate totalitarianism. But, much more often, it's a price for conducting business of any kind. Try disputing your electric bill if the electric company has no record of your account.

Don't even get me started on those fucking extortionists.

It's a little more complicated than that...this is why monopolies are a bad thing. But it comes back to..hide in plain sight. I know I'm followed on facebook, not just by the programs, but by actual people. They are stupid, though. They don't know where to look, or even what to look for.

Even though at least one city in Maryland (and probably others) wants to authorize illegal aliens the right to vote, they haven't (so far) taken away our right to fire and replace the rascals who promote totalitarianism every couple of years in the voting booth. If the department of education hasn't turned every smart kid into a violent left wing zombie who thinks that assault and window smashing and torching cars is a legitimate example of free speech there is still hope. Even though the MSM remains a propaganda arm of the democrat party my guess is that the next 3 1/2 years of the Trump administration will go along way toward draining the swamp.
