Karl Rove is about winning elections in any way possible. Fair and legal are not in his vocabulary. So, when he is stating that to win elections in the future, that the GOP needs to work with the President, he is simply stating reality as seen by an amoral pragmatist. When the GOP followed his advice, the GOP won elections. When they go with the crazier of the Teabaggers, they lose what were supposed to be sure fire elections.
