Gosnell murdered babies

He only got away with this for so long because he was treating poor women.

think about that

Not so. He was willing to abort very late term pregnancies.

But if we go by the verdict of the jury, he didn't perform abortions.

But if you took just two minutes to educate your self on this case, and who this guy is you would understand why he was not performing abortions, but committing murder.

Kermit Gosnell acted illegally in providing abortions.

He has been tried and convicted for that.

He is what the old illegal days guys were like people

link us to the "old illegal days guys" when near term babies were delivered and then their necks slit and then their spinal chords cut with scissors. This is the first time I've heard of these tactics so I''d like to see what you've found that it happened in the past.

this is what the abortion providers were all like whne it was illegal

Don't tell the lifers that, they are salivating at the thought of going back to those days.

You mean unsanitary conditions, unqualified people performing abortions, women being hacked up, partial baby corpses being left inside the womb? Um, yeah...did you read about this case? We are already "back to those days". If we even left them. :eusa_hand:

oh really? why do you think he was prosecuted then?

“All of us are appalled by the substandard illegal practices”

“All of us are appalled by the substandard illegal practices,” said Vicki Saporta, who as CEO of the National Abortion Federation represents hundreds of U.S. abortion clinics. “But to make the leap to say that’s indicative of the state of abortion care throughout the U.S. is absolutely false.”…

“This was an incredibly horrible situation and when it came to light, he was somehow associated with the abortion community, which he’s not,” said Elizabeth Nash of the Guttmacher Institute, a research group which supports abortion rights.

“The kinds of restrictions that the anti-choice lobby has been trying to put in place for years and years are the exact kinds of restrictions that keep people like Kermit Gosnell in business,” said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America.

“Peeking at Gosnell’s clinic is like peeking into U.S. history pre-Roe v. Wade.”

yeap they want to pretend you can make it go away.

when it was illegal that never happened.

Its why it was made safe and legal.

Only rich girls got safe abortions back in the day

Sorry, It was well known how he did business and women were still referred to this butcher by others in the industry. Backs were turned ,reports were ignored, regulations put in place to protect the women were not enforced "by design" to keep the doors open on this house of horrors by state reps with a liberal agenda. Nope...the progressives own this whole mess....no matter how much they try to pawn it off on others.

grow up.

this man was doing it illegally.

Thats why he was convicted.

this is exactly how it was when abortion was Illegal.

Ya, they do have to spin it, but the thing is, he did not hide what he was doing. He was quite open about all of it. This is why his other Dr.'s referred thees late term abortions to him. Really, the law should be combing Gosnells referral lists and go back to those doctors and ask them why they sent people to him, and possibly take a close look at their facilities and records. Pro choice types should encourage this. The media can ignore one Gosnell, but after this, one more could bring the cause right under closer scrutiny.

you're hilarious. He'll go to prison. Just as he should.

He will be sentenced to prison, but what is the bet he appeals and claims that he can't remain in prison because he is old and infirm?

He can appeal all he wants. Doesn't mean he gets a pass. This isn't Australia.

You mean it isn't a civilized country where they don't let religous whacks make policy?

The prosecutors made their political point. They got a court to call fetuses people.

They'll probably cut some kind of sentencing deal with Gosnell so he doesn't appeal. No death penalty and a minimum security prison.

[

In short, Joe mad.

Yes, I am very angry that religious fanatics have allowed the rich to destroy the middle class by tricking them into beleiving this shit.

Hey, let's see you answer the question.

Why is abortion legal still?

Why haven't Republicans given ending this moral outrage the priority they've given free trade or tax cuts for rich people?

Lifers think that Gosnell is the reason why Planned Parenthood should be brought down.

At least looked at real hard. At best, it could end abortion as a form of birth control .

No, it wouldn't.

Again, you obviously never talked to a woman who had an abortion, or you wouldn't say such silly shit.

You dont have a clue who I have talked to. And to say thees clinics dont need a hard looking at after the ones in that area repeatedly referred patients to Gosnell warrants a good looking at. You just mad. You called this one wrong and had to default to the religious nut job rant. Your hero is doing the super bitch and you hate it. That aside, if an air bag fails to deploy in an accident they crawl all over the issue to find out why. Why is it unreasonable to do the same here ? Get the politics out of it and it makes sense, and will go a long way to making this not happen again.
