Tesla wants to grow and keep their vehicles exclusive to the very rich. There are no moderately priced Tesla cars. They certainly don't want a car dealer making some kind of deal.

Texas policy is not immune from criticism from people who live outside of Texas. Unless you want to forfeit all rights you have in criticizing California law? What a total way to avoid the argument.

In other words, Tesla gives the individual an area of more individual freedom, something that people like Staph hate the thought of.
