Yeah, when you have something like 70-80% of the gop denying that Obama was even American, it's pretty much over. And even IF we've reached a tipping point electorally where the gop has a decided advantage even with just 47% of the popular vote, because America is increasingly urban and not going back, the demographics in Ariz and Fla are not revesible. And it's not so much race as just that the old retirees are dying.

But it's very possible I voted for my last gop nominee in 2012.

I highly doubt that 70% of Gopers think Obama was a Kenyan.

Actually both parties are shrinking to independents. If you actually take time to read many of the walk away postings you will find that they are now supporting Trump, even if they don’t support all of the gop. But they are are walking away from the Democratic Party.

Also as I posted, a large majority are sick and tired of both parties refusing to compromise. The "do it my way or get out of the way" turns off huge majorities of people. And that disgust, may some day end the two party system. Party over country is not only UN-patriotic, it's disgusting to most Americans.
One thing, that you have failed to note is Millennials (who lean liberal, are more diverse and accepting of diversity) will be the largest demographic, replacing the conservative Baby Boomers, who are a shrinking demographic. That fact, is going to have a huge impact on the future of politics.
Regaring Trump, Millennials, just 27% support Trump, while 64% disapprove of Trump.

Also he could have presented his long form birth certificate much earlier than he finally did, and he lagged in this because he thought it made his accusers like bad with the aid of the media. And yet there is a requirement for him to prove his qualifications to run.
