The Military has become strikingly more diverse in the last few decades. Blacks, women, Hispanics have risen to Command Level assignments.
To reach those levels they must have outstanding performance appraisals, graduate from Command Level Schools and fill challenging assignments

All well and good, unless they were promoted BECAUSE they were "class of the month XYZ" which is what DEI is all about.

This used to be Republican territory

But Republicans seem to be offering questionable views of our Military

Trump calling the Medal of Freedom superior to the Medal of Honor because those winners were either shot or dead

Vance calling someone who served 24 years a “coward” for retiring while a war is on

Trump calling fallen soldiers Losers

Trump demeaning POWs and saying they are not heroes and he prefers those who were not captured

Trump voicing his discomfort for seeing disabled veterans in public
